Why is a timer needed when only one player is left in a 3vsE battle

Take my last battle for instance. We could have won. I was the only one left. My browser crashed and boom i never load past 93% and I go afk out. If there was no timer we could win. This is frustrating.

Also, can't there be a lighter battle version for mobiles? I am not interested in any of the graphics on my phone. I just want a genuine gameplay. Thank you.

Repeating myself again, im talking only about Player vs Environment Team battles.

I often like to watch how my team mate is playing and see how much exp/fsp I get from the battle even when my army has been killed. I would like the sort of time limit the timer enforces for my team mate. I understand that you might have lost a particularly important combat due to technical issues and I am sorry about that, but I like the idea of a time limit being enforced.

Adding to #2, if a player AFKs, it might take upto 8hrs for the others to get their exp/fsp.

+1 it is true that it causes problems to people who have lag.

That could easily be used as an advantage in defences

You are right, winning is better :-) But please understand that winning or losing is only of the primary factors. In my humble and biased opinion, duration of combat is more important as a team mate.

If you would like to propose this for non Survilurg, non event PvE battles, I am all in favor :)

The mine can't be healed by winning a defense, it can only be damaged.

+1 I see no problems with this change. You get your xp/fsp 8 hours later at most and what's your problem ? You can start a new battle once you're defeated. Don't you think that your partner will also want to get rid of the battle fast ? Not to mention that you'll almost never need to take advantage of this feature.

Yeah, but that would benefit you only if the mine had less than 14% life. Not much important even if this "trick" was applied IMO.
I think it's technically impossible for survilurg battles. I'm not 100% sure about this, but I don't think a new defense can start before the last one on that mine is finished. At the moment you can maybe stretch a battle to one hour, but not longer (since the enemy hero would finish you). If there was no timer, you could stretch a battle to eight hours, so no new defense on that mine could start.

If it would work this way, you could manipulate the number of defenses per day, by just waiting to finish the battle until you're in your clan's safe time.

Similar problems might show up in events. And for assisted hunts, ambushes, ... noone is forced to do these battles with another player, so if you fear for afk, just do them on your own.

I can understand why you want it, because you can go afk more easily if you don't have teammates anymore who can stall a bit, but technical problems can happen and can even make you go afk when you still have teammates, especially if you play a fast faction. I once had a problem similar to yours, my browser loaded too slow or froze and by the time it was fixed I was out of the game, since my units moved first.

So -1, there are more problems that can be caused by this than it can solve ;-)
