Authorlodestone
if i only have lodestone golem left, and enemy kill completely my golem using magic (with piercing), will i lose? or the golem will ressurect again?

i never try that.
i just curious and want to know :)
thanks
You will lose. The stack will not resurrect.

Lodestone works in such a way that damage is received first and then healed later subject to any creature is remaining in the stack.
You will lose. The stack will not resurrect. and Alt wiz don't have "Last breath" talent also :P
What the hell are you talking about ? Golems don't receive damage from magic damage and that's not treated as magic resistance, it was clearly stated somewhere but I can't find it now.
for Lord Hallion91:
Actually they do but they resurrect immediately. I have seen this in quick tournaments
What kind of stupid mechanism is that ?
Like : "OUCH, that firestorm hurt a lot, oh wait a minute, I like firestorms !!"
for Lord Hallion91:
Lode-coated:
This creature is immune to all spells. Those spells which would have normally dealt instant direct damage, HEAL this creature (REPAIRING perished ones) for half the damage that is prevented by this ability.
See the end of battle

You can light garg and still deal dmg to them while them being immune. The description of the ability is definately right and accurate.

Its bad description according to me. While the fault seems minor, the description doesn't reflect the original occurence in battle. According to the language, one could infer that the damaging spells would heal the creature WITHOUT any instant direct damage.

But that they take damage first and heal after that... this is perhaps some strange concept which is hard to analogize with firestorms or explain any how.

and nature magic?
for Slust:
Gargoyles immunity means 100% magic resistance, while "immune to all spells" means that lodestones have such immunity as black dragons.
guys lodestone ARE immune to spells.

But like all immunities, they will take part of the damage from "piercing magic" items/skills.

In a normal setup, with a lord that has no piercing gear, they take 0 damage and heal.

When the attacker has some % piercing, they will take that damage, and then heal for half of the rest. That is what's happening in that battle, where the caster damages for about 25% and heal for 37%(75%/2).

If you hit a black dragon with piercing, you will do some damage.
Wrong description.. they can be buffed but not debuffed :/
Holy knight + battle wiz= OPP
