Can anyone suggest some good recruitment -
I am level 3 and can only recruit tier 4 i have 1300+ CoT
I even dont know what to suggest. Made your tactic. Hall of unity have?
I think Fiends + Lorekeepers + Shamans would be a good combination .
Something Better cuz i tried it :)
Fiends + Lorekeepers + Shamans IMO is not viable. Fiends would get thrashed easily, so as lorekeepers.

MY OPINION though are these:
1) Frontier Ursary/Berserkers (your preference on which) + Anchorites (stoneskin) + Shaman (rapid/delay) and if u want u can add wreckers

2) Sky shaman + trappers (chain lightning) + fairies/sprites + wreckers

3) My favourite= ogre trophy hunter + shaman + sprites/fairies + poisoners

This list is non exhaustive, there are plenty of good combos, its a matter of trial and error to find to your suiting.
You can try Liz assailants and Liz cavalry with some buffers
It worked good for me

Also you can keep berserkers
Use ogre to give chastise and ancho for stoneskin
Then in madness they can pawn anyone
I tip for recruitment, get a unit 1 init higher than your main damager if it isnt a flyer. Eg. Get brawler/berserker(few of them) if u plan to use Frontier Ursary, their added init allows them to take traps for bears. Make sure that unit that eats traps is slower than trappers.

This is null and void if your main attacker has higher init than trappers or is a flyer/teleporter

That I concur! Have seen one of my partner running around with it and they've got the stamina to last till be battle ends(high defence+stoneskin).
I have tried modern golems and they are doing great :)
I always take along 1 death herald for their harvest soul ability, it saves me alot of time and effort for dealing with strong def/hp troops.
ghosts are also great combo
best is sky shamans and goblins awesome chain lightining
No one combination is the best and I can speak from experience that sky shaman + tribal goblins are good but there are alot more better options. Literally you only can play your cards once per 2 turn- 1 turn needed to sacrifice goblins for mana and then the other for usage of chain lightning, etc.

It also depends on your partner's army, whether they have good "distractions", etc.
I find a decent amouth of Searing Horses(like 10) really good,they deal good enough damage and if positioned properly help you deal with those strong def and hp units,with their searing aura.
i use veterans decent damage range resistance slow but take alot of damage hob goblins die fast but there also cheap and deal a huge amount of damage poisoners good at dealing decent damage to high defense creatures such as cyclops and then i added vermins deal high damage and will take away some of there rapids and bless's
besercs/fiends+pristine uni+ clerics +sky shamans + anchos+lores+ any durable shooter

all buffs on fiends/ besercs and you have 2 mean killing machines on the field ..

shooters are for distraction u can use wreckers and put also some mines
