How do I distribute FSP? (In dilemma)

AuthorHow do I distribute FSP? (In dilemma)
I reached DE fsl 1 today and already accumulated half the fsp to reach Wizard FSL 4.

Now do I pick some other faction or continue to work on DE? If some other then which one should I pick?

Longterm plan (may change as still undecided) is to get 3-4 fsl in all factions before level 8. :)
I want to try all faction before picking up main so I do not have any permanent main faction.
If your plan is to get 3-4 fsl in all factions, I'd probably do them one at a time in order to minimize the cost of building all your castles. For example, if you finish wizard now on level 3-4, you might never have to build any wizard construction ever again. If you play multiple factions without ever fully raising them to your "goal" amount, your combat level will increase and you will have to upgrade your castle for multiple factions.
It barely makes a difference now, since you will level up soon.

I would make a list with factions which are mostly uninteresting to you and level them up first, one after another to level 3/4. This way you can save castle costs.

For example: If Necromancer is the least interesting faction for you, level it up first, never touch it again, save gold.
Q)
are you doing it to build faction resistance or to find the RIGHT faction?
Good points DE and Hiltrud. :)

I find Wizard particularly uninteresting and have no plans of keeping it as my main.
I have been thinking of keeping either Tribal or Demon as my main faction so I will try them both in the end. Thanks for help :)

Maybe both...
I have been thinking of keeping either Tribal or Demon as my main faction so I will try them both in the end.

You will have plenty of time to think about it with your playing style. ;)

I think both are interesting (because unusual) to play.

You should think about the question "How should my character look like at level 15+?"
You should think about the question "How should my character look like at level 15+?"

Too far fetched, isn't it? :)
But I would say atleast 10 FSL in main and 5 fsl in rest. Choosing main is difficult though...

I can also try getting 5-6 fsl in all factions till level 10 and then choosing a main faction from there onwards.
Do you think it is a good idea?
It's a good idea, if you're patient. Keep in mind that while you are building faction resistance, your character will not be competitive in pvp/tournaments/events because you won't have a main faction. The more resistance you try to build, the longer you will have to wait before you character becomes competitive in pvp. So yeah, it's good if you can wait that long, but it will be a long wait.

Hope this helps!

Doesn't PoS apply in PvP Tournaments and Events?

Mixed CG can help too))
Yes, but not all - some events/tournaments are one player only, so the potion of skill doesn't work. Even in the situations where potion of skill works, such as minor tournament, you will be at a disadvantage because your FL will be one lower than your opponents. Sometimes this won't matter much, but there are situations where it will (for example, if you are dueling a player who is the same faction as yourself).
Since you are a good enroller , you might want to build all castles until a certain combatlevel (let's say 5 or 6). You could build all factions up until level 3 and then finish them one by one by going to 4 (and take the ones that interest you most as last ones). As you level you will get new units which change the game a lot. At level 3 it's very difficult to know which faction you like most. Also, on higher levels it's fun to switch factions from time to time so you don't always have to do the same. It also gives you more insight in the playstyle of your enemies.

On the other hand you might want to try to get a TGI on level 6. Then you can reduce the cost on castle by first building those that you will "never" play again (like others already said) and build the one(s) that you are interested in last.

If you never want to play wizard again, I'd advise you to finish level 3 and then switch back to DE.

Hopefully you can one day build all castles (that interest you). That's my long term goal ;-)

I agree with you. :)

Yes, that is my priority :)

I am not quite sure currently. As you said At level 3 it's very difficult to know which faction you like most. :)
Lodestone golems + fireball build looks tempting at CL 10 but it can get old quick. Wizzies generally have longer battles than other factions, I think :)

Hehe, I hope but their costs can be crushing after CL 12 when you build citadel (~900k for all 9 factions). I will try to get as much resist as I can hopefully before CL 12. :)
Goodluck with your goal though :D
Well, if your goal is to get a TGI asap, best focus on that and don't waste too much gold on faction resist. Nowadays the requirements to do hunts and MG quests are very low. I (level 15) can do hunts and quests with my level 8 knight castle. Also there are events from time to time (portal of time event) that allow you to gain fsp in a faction that you don't have a castle for. Same with fsp that you gain from anniversairy and such. So it's quite easy to get to level 4 in factions that you don't want to play.

Most of the high level players have fl 5 in factions that they don't even have one building of ;-).
