Hi all, just started playing yesterday. Pretty great game, I love the idea of online-HOMM3.
Any guides or anything about Necro development ? Should I level Knowledge and Defense ? |
| Its more like a HOMM5 online. Leveling knowledge or defense when leveling up is not considered development, since you can reset these parameters and set new ones any time. At your level, I don't suggest adding points to spell power, it wont give you much. Focus on Knowledge and Attack (or defense) parameters |
For your level, using all parameters at knowledge will be ideal for raising ghosts.
On side, keep doing hunts and increasing your HG level for attack bonus.
No need to put parameter points to defense. Just increase your knowledge and attack. For sake of defense, keep enrolling every time.
You might face some trouble with necros during lvl 3-4, as they are extremely fragile at these levels.
Things will get better from lvl 5 when you get vampires ;) |
So doing HG is the right move ? I thought it's bad because it somehow levels you out of whack with your main line (necro) ? Though that's later on I guess ?
I can't touch barbs in duels as it is, I went from 100% duel win lvl 1-2 to 0% win lvl 3. But yeah, I intend to level up some and see.

If u want a good planned account, do 11 enrolls and 1 hunt.
If u want to enjoy the game, well I never did so don't know :P (that doesn't mean my account is good xD). |

Actually I'm enjoying it lots.
And yesh, played tons of Arcomage, always figured myself an excellent player on the grounds of you know, generally got the 13 wins in less than 15 games in mm7, sometimes even 13 games. But... as it turns out... I'm really not that good, huh. |
I dont know if they said it before, but play WG (Watcher Guild, the 3 daily mission thing) and AG (Campaigns) early on if possible a lot.
Easier than if you do it later on.
You have 7.9 points into WG apparently, so looks like you saw it already anyway.
Also, Enroll like crazy and get rich)) Important...
If you have classes/work that keep you somewhat "Busy", Enroll with the Phone every now and then.
Dont forget this is "Lords of War and MONEY", dont forget the "Money" part)))

Also: You want a strong character development, or just to "Have fun"?
Because if you want the former, you'd do well in avoiding those GB PvP thing, they kinda "Destroy" your character.
But I used to play them a lot, Tbh, when I didnt know.
A little doesnt hurt either, I suppose! |
