I love Bleach too, but I wouldn't call it captivating in the same sense. And I think you may be misremembering that twitter thing. I never was on twitter.
Anyway, when I first watched Hxh and got to the chimera ant arc, I couldn't stop watching. It kept me up all night and day. Loved the narration too, although would have preferred a gentler voice. It can be grating at times to hear that much background talk I admit, but I cannot overstate its importance to allow the average audience to grasp the intended nuance in every scene of that arc. |

| I watched it with subs. Those are rare exceptions when I prefer the dubbed version. Not to claim that subs are always superior- I don't know. But part of it was that I didn't really need to be diligently reading the subs as I was becoming quite familiar with the language, so I preferred the original audio. That said, I haven't watched much anime in years so it may not be the same anymore. |
