My Final battle (Dwarf Castle).

One thing I only just realised is that previously I was waiting till I could upgrade all of my troops as I did not have enough silver as had obviously recruited all of that troop for each battle.
If however you unrecruit some of that troop, you can then upgrade that smaller number and then when you are out of silver rerecruit the ones you could not upgrade.
This should even things out in performance from having to wait for the next big chunk, and may make it a little more ven when you cannot integrate upgraded troops you have found on the map with your army that you cannot afford to fully upgrade yet. |

went through the event a second time knowing what to actually do. did better and im confident this will be top 50 score or at worst top 100. not sure if i will play through a 3rd time but i might since it is fun. knowing my luck i will get insane boss 10 3rd run. 2nd run it was much easier then my first attempt. |

Kudos on your score! I only did the first run. You know me, I just aim to finish the event without worrying about the results. I play for fun and I'm definitely less competitive than most players. I already have plenty of competition in my academic field, where I'm highly competitive. If I end up in the top 5,000, I’ll be happy.

| for Syl: probably best. this event is horribly balanced for lower levels. higher levels with high stats and high initiative make a lot of battles easier comparatively then lower levels. |

I think it will in part depend upon your army exactly and definitely on what they have. In general you want to take out the tent quickly as well as control and restrict engagement of them to your troops. Ie you want to fight where you want, and minimise them getting attacked on to you.
This means there is a benefit to blocking the door so that they cannot go through it until you want to go through.
There is a benefit to isolating troops around the tent so that few stacks can get to you to do damage.
The details however matter. If they have a big attack of invokes they can speed rune and doa lot of damage. If they have lots of shooters you cannot avoid them while closing in on the tent.
That is my only criticism of this event, much of the final score comes down to rng of the final battle, with the opportunity of doing it all again to get a better run at it.

I decided to play on for a bit using looted arts just so I could fight a battle with 10 jade dragons.
Silly but strangely satisfying |
