| and against high def swordsman with large shield ability which halves range attacks it would be pretty weak still kill a fair number though... But in my opinion its better to have more Swordsman than bowman as bowman would be targeted first...Swordsman greater defence, offense as troops get killed, and better hp. |

The discussion is on level 8, and the main differences for the race are the new tier 5 creatures and upgraded tier 2.

| hm... no one kill crossbow or skeleton archer if you cower him. and 190 arch or 90 crossbow deal 80-90 dmg in big range if target have armor 28-30 (tier 5 units) and if they have luck, kill full lizards stek in low distanse. |
| I really think Dark elfs can be better if they switched to magic build. they should take advantage of the only 9 talent point required for chaos magic. I think DE can over power wizards. iF they get expert chaos magic and with high spell power. lighning would hurt pretty bad.. |

i think you are wrong they can do more and if they have luck this will be terrible with 75 skelt bowmen and luck i got 14 orcs down .

dark elf should be higher, shrews are deadly, and hydras are no joke. as for fear attack, i do not think it does. it shouldn't affect gargs or golems either. |

I had a duel with lvl 8 barbarian (i am level 8 elf in .ru)
Hes rocs reached my elite fk's and killed them ALL with 1 hit (with luck)
And rocs suck??? |

and if you compare rocs with hellhorses, they deal higher dmg and have a better range...
or just compare how player can hunt thmen

| judging from a few battles i saw with barbarians 2 barbarians on the same side sent their rocs straight across to the other side of the battlefield with ogres on their back. and they got pwned super easy by 15 griffins and an elite fk |
| running into near 5 stacks of units, times 2 for a team, in range of archers is going to get you pwned any day. It's not the orges and teh rocs, its the strategy. |

if they will be dead after one round, that means they are deadly that one round else they would not be dead so soon
anyway, if ye cannot deal with shrews fast enough, they are deadly, if ye can deal with them fast enough, well, something else survives |

In my opinion, elf has no level 8. When others in level 8, elf in level 7,5.
