I think that the drawback of the new guild is that it needs a mount to work well.
I keep getting told that since I cannot reach the location of the ambush I have to stop in 3 minutes (which could be across the map), I can't take the quest. Thus I need a Horse or better to do the quest or something... Thus it's like a weekly fee, which is like a TGI on installments or something. |

TGI is 1.05M (now)
means after 3.5 years you ll have some costs ^^
Besides, horse is also useful in general, while paying for a tgi does not give such an additional bonus |
