I've decided to do knight. I've switched, and I have some weak hunts I've been saving for a faction change. For when it gets tougher, how critical is magic to a knight? I want to go mostly might, as my main is barb, and I don't want to waste too much energy on getting magic.
I know bless on the Xbows can make a huge difference. What SP and power would people suggest for a knight who only wants to dabble in magic, and what are the most critical cheap spell choices to use? |

you still can get Sp and Kn without using a potion.
1. you can get Sp and Kn with arts.
2. for talent, you can get Sp with:
- fallen knight talent to get +5 Sp bonus for all dark spells
- twilight which can +3 to Sp on both holy and dark spells; but at the end you will get +3 to holy, +8 to dark due to a must to invest fallen knight.
somehow, you still need to get arts to increase Kn even you are using talent to get Sp. we dont have talent to get Kn.
if you still wish to invest on magic without losing too much on might, you can just get 2 Sp with arts, 3 Kn with stats. with magic guild level 1, rapid and bless will be sufficient for your xbow in most cases.
anyway, a potion is always cheaper IF you are going to stay as knight to build up fsp for a looong time without keep switching faction. after all, little Sp and Kn can be carry forward to other faction as well except you are so crazy with might built on all other factions.
another option will be get cleric to enjoy the holy cast.
of course, you shouldnt worry so much without magic. we got alot knight go to might path without aid of magic :) |

you just got unlucky, enemy troop numbers are subject to slight change, if you try again, u will do better. |

What im doing wrong
i NEVER win group battles i fell like troops totally suck hit soft and r slow to move and turn..
I cant rush in with griff cuz they got no support i cant stand back and they hit me or i'll see me surrounded by malees after ranges run out of arrows..
what i'm doing wrong?

stop doing group battles.
The last GB i did was a long time back and that was only because of a friend.
Earn money by doing thieving and mercernary quests to get xbows at level 8. |
| don't rush ahead with griffs, and bring more bows instead of recruits, then you can wait for the enemy to come to u. |

ofc, knight troops are slow; no power range unit; your fast units are VERY fast in term of dying; no powerful dmg spells; knight just lack on many thing ;p
you can always have this option: change faction. it wasnt a shame to change faction if you think you cant fit into it :)
anyway, i just wonder will you complain again after change faction? 'OMG, elf is too low hp, i die too fast', 'OMG, nerco cant burst action, opponents own me with morale' ROFL... |
| pang, what im complaning is becuz i already tried everything possible, full morale boost, stay back, all on luck, all on defense and everytime i get raped again and again, im asking for help becuz i know that someway to play this faction but i cant seem to get it. |
