help in defeating the trial player in commanders guild

Min archers. Wait for it to come to you. The AI doesn't know to attack with 1 unit to take retail, then attack with the tough units. You can beat him like this ;)

Actually, it's very easy for a knight (I was magic, so don't know how it would be for a might knight)

Even if AI has been improved, they're still relatively stupid compared to most players. They will just charge at you with melee units. You can use this to your advantage. Have your sword stack hang back. Then when their sword stack comes within striking distance take it's retal and have your swords and monks attack it (monks should use melee attacks here, NOT ranged attacks as swords will take less damage then)

Might or holy knight is better in the commanders' guild battles?
in trial fight, magic knight is easier. i dont face any problem, the fight was like what i expected.

but, in CG pvp fight, both might and magic are good.
It's a perfect mirror battle. They even line up mirrored to you. Your unit in the top left is their unit in the top right. Take as few X-Bow and Monks as possible. Wait for the enemy recruits guardians griffin, etc charge, and then your 3 1 recruit stacks takes retal and then you big stacks of recruits, guardians and griffins finish the job. Very easy.

you should use offensive talent..not defensive..becos ur smarter than AI..

but, using magic built will have some advantage. AI isnt smart enough to make good use with magic.

in my trial fight, i take expert holy + 1 dom + rally. the AI was too dumb to spam dark spells while there is no dark talent to strength up the dark spells XD

hence, a few cast will guarantee your troops deal better dmg and get it turns faster. it was even easier than ambush fight :)

Until you get the evasion spell I wouldn't go with max bows in any PvP. They may pack quite a punch, but they're slow and enemy shooters/hero will always go before your bows and will usually slaughter them.

If you were going to be using max swords I'd suggest might build for level 9, but magic build if you're going to be doing GBs. You have enough talent points for advanced holy + 2 mass spells. Use your spells to buff your teammates, as most of your units can't do anything for the first few turns :)
So, I'm not really sure if I should have asked this in Q&H, but I disided to ask my questions here. I just got to MG 2 and I got my extra point to distribute to one of my skills. First, am I able to redistribute this skill point with a potion of oblivion? Second, where do you guys think I should put it? I'm a might knight, and I mostly do MG quests and hunts.

read the description on the potion again. so, it is 'YES'.

as i mentioned before, stats investment wasnt the key to define whether you are might or magic built. it was the talent and arts in most of time. even you had 4 Sp and 4 Kn, it doesnt mean you will always use magic talent in all combats.

yet, you should consider on attack or defend parameter if you are decide to go with might. attack parameter is all round good; defend parameter will be better in PvP
just to note that the dispersion was tweaked too hard, it cant instant remove negative spells; in the same time it can remove your own buff spells.

laughable... so, i wonder what's the difference btw dispersion and anti magic shield. they almost work in the same way. wasting 10 mana but it cant remove opponents spells while remove my own spells
i have been wondering after the new update which is better, holy magic knight or dark magic knight. Plz express your opinions :)

Both are good. You can use same SPs/KN.s with both, so you can change them. Anyways, on lv8 you get xbows which are very good in all kinds of combats with good Holy Buffs (Rapid and Bless). Dark Magic can be resisted partially though, but it has better range and so on...

if genies cast 10 confusion.... how much dispersion effect need to remove them??
an idea to get knight's turns quicker is to have mass morale. Is this a good idea as i want my troops to have enough turns to wipe out the opponent.

also, at level 8, would soldiers luck (for xbows aimed shot and swords stun) be any use at all?

soldier luck useful only for trigger ablility.
only swordmen and guardian get benefit from this talent.
