You're asking in the wrong thread. But you control it by changing your favoured enemies in your castle.

At the moment you are using rally. If you like it, its perfectly fine to stay with it.
If you don't like it, just get a combination of Prayer (the middle talent) and anything. : )

Changing the settlement.Stacking all wardens in fireball are was a mistake.
You should have moved your griffs and cavalry out of 3x3 box, since, their turn came before hero's.

Move them but still make them stack in a 4x4 box. Now how should I do it.
Could have been like this:

G-griffs,C-cavalry,W-wardens

Now I did not mention crusaders since they wont move before hero's turn.And monks could have gone anywhere like that on the battle field in order to not be in 3x3 area of any important troop.

Do NOT be in the temptation to cast on all of them when facing a caster.
Mass rapid and mass chastise and bless is all you need.

Now since mana would be saved you can cast it in diff. groups.For e.g:Once on griffs, warden,cavalry, then on both the wardens. That wiz would have been happy seeing you stacking all your troops like fresh meat ready to be slaughtered.Btw, that wiz had enchanted arts and you know how is it with knights and wizards. So don't expect much but the extent to which the combat was gone. Had not been of intial fireball. You could have won.
And yes, do not split monks, that is waste when going for a caster.

As a knight?

For white knight:
Go for attack, and Basic Leadership + Rally :)

I don't think red knights are very effective in those levels, so I would suggest white knight only :)
Go white knight. Magic wont work that much. So go might build. Now you dont have a universal talent setup but you can gobasic leadership+rally or basic defense+any appropriate defense talent.
What do you think is most ideal for the mixed tournament for a lvl 12 knight?

Might white knight
Holy white knight
Might red knight
Holy red knight

holy red knight would be better. It is certainly better in pvps,and you might team up with higher lvls in tourney so your enhanced buffing may come in handy.

Yes, knights are
But adding to defense only makes the fights longer.

Knight troops are already gifted with decent defense, and that much suffices in normal combats. Moreover, while fighting mages, defense gives no benefit, whereas a lil extra attack might help you win.

So, my suggestion is to add in attack :) You can always change the parameters using Potion of Oblivion :)

In quick tournament, what are better for a red knight?
165 rebels or 94 wardens?

And, this is, when main objective is to buff others, not myself
^ rebels or combination of both but not 94 wardens.because they will be key attraction,and get killed fast.If you want to buff ur team,you neeed to survive longer.

But, wardens would be more effective if buffed, and cavalry and crusaders last long enough.
Also, wardens, being target would draw fire and keep other stronger troops safer for a while :p And even a little troop of wardens can deal a lot of damage with the 2-8 parameters..

So, brutes or wardens? :p
