| rally gives you more troops and escort always your hero to guard one stack so if that stack is hit your hero attacks to for more damage |

escort is only for melee attack
use it on griffins or swordsmen |

dont listen to 196, his statement is abit misleading.
escort will take effect only when your escorted stack GET attacked by MELEE.
so, even you escort on griffin or swordsmen, your hero still wont perform any atk if escorted target was hit by melee. |
