How works hellfire on spray attack and ricochet shot?

I suppose that damages are divided between targets, is it right? or is it 30% chance and 5 mana cost for each target?

If someone knows, thanks.

with cerberi spray hellfire can trigger only on target that u atacked (pointed with sword). hellfire works on return shoot.

play with magic means that u need to stay alive as long as possible
to let ur hero cast magic
what do u need is 'mass meat', and incen is the best for it

and, from demon talents
demon is not fit to play with magic
without erudition,intelect and high talent cost for chaos magic
awww...but i like playing with magic :(
besides, i have checked out alyna's profile (highest lvl demon that i have heard about) and she has played magic demon in lvl 8 and won quite a few battles..but i will certainly go by your advice of max incendiaries..i will max out horses as well so that i will have 8 spawns, 79 incendiaries, 7 hounds, 17 succubi and 6 horses...how does that sound?
for talents i am still gonna stick with offense rather than magic so i can call myself a mixed demon...lol

I like that setup of yours, I really played almost the same. But go with offense, battle fury and luck as your talents. And use might arts when playing full arts that way the creatures (inci especially) pack a considerable punch while u still can cast some spells. As a demon your creatures are not only, as for a wiz, to stay alive, u really have to deal most of your dmg with them. Magic is more for support.
In pve I mostly casted delay, that helps your critters alot.
there is a battle between me and alyna (i ambushed her) at level 8 (maybe 9) where she was magic demon and i was might demon. the magic demon can be handy for some thief missions against NPCs but if you watch that battle i easily avoided putting my troops in a position to where she could take advantage of her mass poison and with +3 moral and luck with the fast troops we have she really didn't stand a chance. look at our last battle when she ambushed me (right before her lv up). she was might this time and easily crushed me (thanks to her all crucial cerberi getting the first strike).

magic may be handy at higher levels but that will remain to be seen. personally i think the cost of the chaos or darkness talent paths (10 talent points each) are too high. part of the reason i guess i believe that is the artifact shop has carried the Cape of Flame since the game started. Yet the little i played as a fire demon it was not at all worth it yet. The damage i was able to do was nothing compared to what i do in full arts with might spec.

but i am not talking about putting my talent on mass poison and things like that..my talents and arts would still be might based so that my creatures will be the strong ones and magic will support them..and as far as i know you cannot set troops to avoid lightning/magic arrow :)

now the question is whether i should go with advanced offense or luck as my third talent..i seem to remember having read somewhere that consistent 10% extra damage will always beat random luck on the long run, but then again i cannot disregard the experience of alyna, who has obviously played a lot more than me..i am a bit confused here

We could discuss both battles in detail, but they say nothing about the strenth and weaknesses of either built:).

on the long run, in terms of dmg 10% more is exactly the same as 1 luck (once in every 10 turns double dmg). It depends on your taste if slighly higer dmg or the occasional big luck better suits you.

But!: the offense talents affects only melee attacks so no advantage for the succubi. Therefore luck is better than offense.

Hi I was wondering does a might demon at level 8 cast anything else but disruption ray? If so I can easily drop my 1 spellpower and stick with 2 wisdom...
Delay etc looks rather occasional when you're playing might and low on spellpower.

That 1 skill in sp could be nice to increase my att

really? all this time i thought gated unit don't give either xp nor faction point..
i don't think so. you don't get any SP nor XP for killing gated units. someone told me long ago...

I thought you would get since I often see high levels in ambushes trying to kill all gated ones before finishing the real stacks.

gated creatures don't give xp/fsp. Just to avoid confusion.
I am thinking about changing to this faction, but it costs a lot:

For all buildings:
149 800 gold
106 wood
131 ore
30 sulfur
20 mercury
25 gems
15 crystals

and this is what i have to pay without the extra inventory, blacksmith and the magic guilds:
112 300 gold
46 wood
56 ore
15 sulfur
5 mercury
10 gems

So i was wondering, are those magic guilds really needed?
or if i change faction in the beginning, is all other buildings enough?
