most americans I know do not particularly like dragon ball gt, but bleach is new sensation.
I loved avatar but with it being a finite story, no longer wish to ever see another episode unless it is new.
Speaking of new, transformers finally has new episodes. I still think that beast wars was and is the best all time transformers rendition, but new one is ok, waaaaaaaaayyyy better than the former one with the power up whatever they were peices of crap.
Say, Dragon Ball Evolutions has come out, anyone seen that movie yet? Soon, transformers two will be out, not a big fan of one, hope next one is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better!!!! |

Thanks for advanced notice. So where should I be running away from when you go crazy and kill everyone from the hardened criminals to those who slight honest mistakes.
How about Inuyasha? Also popular and somewhat similar to the already listed animes. Personally I don't like the later seasons, but Lucid likes the series.
I like the Slayers series (Next, Try, Revolution, ovas, movies). Lots of great action, but I feel this series is a little different from the above animes.
If you like Death Note, then you might like Evangelion and Monster for their psychological drama. |

Yeah, DBGT was never really imported over plus it's more fanservice than the DB and DBZ, so it's more asian than american. And from the trailers DB Evo is straight up americanized. I don't think I'll watch the movie for fear that they have ruined the awesome series. |

I do like to try it but I am too busy as it is .Only got time in between the hunts to see them and I am only at ep 30 of death note and there is a lot of others to try so I will give my comments later.But thanks for the note anyway

you said manga not anime.Both have slight different angles of viewing and presentation.One might like a manga but not the anime.And I have always normally read the manga before the anime because they are great in story while animes are great in graphics and understanding.So please dont mix animes and manga |
well i really don't know the differences between manga and anime but i really enjoy watching Detective Conan.
Solving the cases before Conan does is kind of mind-sport for me :)
i also enjoyed watching Death Note until L died. He was definately my kind of guy (although he was sometimes sort of dumb); i always hoped for him to come back but he didn't

mangas are magazines ,while most animes are their on screen versions
and mangas anways are released first and depending on their response,budget for animes is decided
You will see the deference when you read the mangas of the animes you have seen |

I think manga are best, then anime. However, as much as I would love to
see live action movies of them, they are usually so lame, I dread comic book
movies now. spiderman sucked, fantastic four sucked, dragonball evo looks
lame, ALL superman movies supersuck, first hulk movie was aweful but the
second wasnt so bad, first punisher movie with dolf laundren was punishing to
watch but second one wasn't so bad, most of the old batman movies sucked to
being ok. And I refuse to comment on X-Men or Wolverine (haven't seen
wolverine, but doesn't look like I want to either)
They all need to learn from Iron Man, Spawn, Blade (the original not the
sequals >P) and the last two Bat-Mans |
