the problem of lots of u ppl is that u assume ppl complaining is bcuz they dont like the game... when most of them r just sad by see his favourite game starving... somethin like u, the ones who claim u like it that much, seem to dont care...

How can you tell who cares and who doesn't? What do you think is better for the game from the following 2 options : Asking non-stop for events at forum or donating? Do you want to have updates just for the sake of it every now and then or good sturdy updates that don't come so often?
Personally i prefer a game without bugs like this one that gets few and well-checked updates rather than a game that gets amazing attention from admins - who do some hasty updates and then patch and patch again everything to make it as it should have been from start.
This game has enough content to play until the maximum level right now, as long as you comprehend the mechanics well. If one player can do it, then others can also do it unless they are doing something wrong :) Now it is all about finding the good player that knows how to play the game and follow his example. |

this is nonsense, bcuz not everybody can afford donating. I can only ask for mysself, but i guess there r other methods of help this game than donating: tellin ur friends to join, spread the word in other online games, being active and participative online...

I can't really tell who likes the game and who doesn't. But those who don't like the game are simply wasting time playing it ( not only this game - that refers to all games ).

Completely agreed. Especially about the spread the word part... If people keep complaining , X new guy who comes on server may think that the game completely sucks and leave ( while of course this is far from the truth - 100% of the people i showed the game and they liked heroes simply love this ). We got like 1/3 of the forum discussing this thing... and that's really bad for the game.

Who said .ru is a test server? Admins have said several times that .ru will always be ahead ( at least i knew that for many months now ) - don't really see any problems here. I also started recently playing on .ru in parallel - its not that hard despite language barrier... and i don't really see such huge gameplay difference. They got more events sure - but they are not as frequent as people think... and i've seen several threads at forum there complaining about lack of updates too... ( or more appropriately about the kind of updates ).
And don't forget when we had our last major update in december a lot of people complained and many left the game back then - yet the server had then 900-1000 people online , now its 1250-1300 or so on peak hours. I remember last July when i joined 750 people or so were online at peak hours.. |

I think the fact is there's a gap between complaining, and constructive criticism. As long as ppl doesnt just complain viciously, but remark somethin with reasonable statements, i dont see any problem with it. It's true too that is not good to compare .ru with .com all the time... but i guess is somethin unavoidable.

choice is simple as always:
1) if you like it, play it, enjoy it....
2) if you don't like it, go quietly like all heroes go.

as for myself, I will play this game as long as it gives me fun.

Can you immagine a game like lordswm.com where you periodically have events and tournaments? As an example a tournament every 2 months and an event every 3?
Wouldn't it be more funny? Ore you don't like real trials and you hide yourself behind the words "good player" thinking that a good player is a dedicated one who is able to do the same thing many thousands of time without feeling the bore?
All we may need to have the perfect game are development and a few Game Masters if you know what I mean. There are young programmers without a work all over the world and peoples who are ready to give their hands even for free to help the development of the game.
To end this (it's becomeing boring even to continue this kind of conversations) I agree with all those who are saing that we don't need updates. It's true, we don't need new creatures or artifacts to do the old tasks, we really don't need them.
Sooner or later YOU will see that you don't need to play too. What makes chess a real good game? Maybe you get 17 pieces instead of 16 after a few matches? No. If you chose a good opponent, every game you play you have a good trial and a different match.

Try to learn what happends when you increase a number of a fix fraction every time (like it is on the hunt system or mercenary quests) and then you'll undestand. If there will be no development, sooner you'll have nothing to do. We are working for you and for every other high level player! ;-) |

51: When i have nothing to do ( which will take long time since i got an uber game-plan :P ) I will just retire till more updates are released or for good if they don't. The fun i had so far doing those 5050 fights was worth it for me ( and also the great fun we got on Elite Warriors skype channel gossiping the rest of the server! ).

First of all, there are two parts of the game as it is that will never end: Thieves Guild and PvP. you can get roughly a 40% win rate in TG ( maybe less or more depending on faction but long-term that will be the win % ) and PvP is inexhaustible. Hunters guild and most of MG is already over for most players. Hunts with assistance are still very much possible for me for very large amounts of time ( you know you can let your assistant to kill 35-40% of monsters and increase will be small, don't you? ) and Monsters/Raids are also possible for long time. The game has a trap: If you do too much PvM solo with enchants on every fight, you become dependent on it and the increase is so big that it consumes you. If you avoid that pitfall there is content available for long time more...
Of course updates are good and should happen. But trying to force admins to release them won't work. They got their plans and they follow them. Success or failure will depend on how good admins are.
Also i am quite familiar with mathematics and probabilities at university level and i got my secret plans for my progress in this game :P
I really think it is good to ask for more, i just believe it is done the wrong way. I would suggest we make a single forum thread on GGF and keep the discussion about it there - no other mentioning of such things on other forums threads. There everyone can add his constructive comments and opinions. Flooding the forums with similar topics about the same issue is barely helping the game. |
