sorry for spoiling your thread. to come back to the subject, DE is a little bit overpowered, but much depends on the strategy. i have a friend who is DE and a good strategist, but still he got beaten by wizard in a duel. the only problem with the wizard is that you need a lot of money to be real strong. and to get that lot of money, you need to start saving a lot (or to be lucky at roulette). i suppose you can give a try with the demon. it doesn't require so much money and it doesn't require so much patience. good luck! Actually this was a reminder of my own Elven thieving days, when second turn was my last one or the caravan`s last. EFK die after one turn, sprites after 2.
About the factions changing, everytime I was bored, I have changed the faction. Until level 6 necro, then knight, barbarian, level 8,9 DE for thieving, sold invitation, elf for hunting at level 10. If I can bite..I dont know, check the combat log, sometimes I get pawned, sometimes I win, I am not making a big deal about it. But dont worry about me, it takes lot of time and concentration to start anything with faction level 0..not talking about the money. |
