Ogres
ALL NECRO TROOPS (they can be raised, pooh)
Griffins
Succubi
Orcs
Lizard cavalry (NOT MINE of course)

What I'd kill first. Note I am playing a spellcasting Level 7 DE.
DE - Shrews or Lizard Cavalry
E - Elven Bowmen
Ba - Orc/Orc Chiefs or Wolfriders/Wolfraiders
N - Ghosts
Kn - Bowmen although Swordsmen/Champions are the most dangerous
D - Hounds

Sorry but I disagree, and the reason is simple. Shrews just draw too much attention to themselves and very rarely survives to the end game. Opponents know they must destroy Shrews as quickly as possible for any chance of victory.

One small addition:
Some of u mention killing wolf raiders first, in my oppinion it's no need for killing them FIRST, just keep them out of distance, so simply block their way!
Anyway i agree with "they are deadly and bring them down below 20", just is say they don't mean a direct treat at start of combat...

Knight : Griffins they run for my bowmen or Bowmen
Dark Elves : Shrews if upgraded else Lizards
Barbarian : Orcs then Wolves/Hobs then OGres
Elves : Elven Bowmen
Necro : Skel Bmen/Ghosts
Demon : Succubi then Hounds |

shrews.have.to.die.first.if.there.is.no.mass.dmg.option...all.other.units.
become.secondary.targets.for.my.elf.char.at.the.beginning.of.a.fight.

necro: griffins to skelly ( but first "cleareance" of the block with volley), melee on vamps |
