Wow, this thread really got out of control. It became unique place for mutual accusations. It's like a witch hunt in here.
It's really pointless to talk any more about this. You (I_own_you_all) got penalty, and nothing will change that. You did abuse your brothers account for your personal reasons (triggering caravan), and then winning against him when you ambushed him. |

Well punishments for breaking the rules is as always up to admin. However this thread uncovered some players that are so used to gaining unfair advantage over others that they agressively atack anyone who point it out. While ppl get more and more suspicious of theyr activity uncovering more and more proof of theyr activities the more ppl they atack. I wouldnt call that witch hunt tho. :) |

Maybe witch hunt is to strong word, but I meant that topic went from discussing about penalty, to searching for cheaters. |

Nah it went from hey why i have to pay for my breaking of rules? to hey guys i dont c nothing wrong with what I_own_you_all did check my transfer log i do the same. Its not searching for cheaters more like cheaters speaking up : " hey guys i do the same and i wasnt punished yet." Its funy but its not exactly called searching when they give up themself so easily here :D |

The question is is your brother's intention to meet you in an ambush to lose against you. It's not in question whether he loses, since he even conviniently afked when he got in a double ambush, so the question is his intention. Of course you can't prove someones intentions, but since the rule is formulated like this the people who decide it have to use indications and seeing that someone continuosly gains an advantage from an other player that is acting irrational is quite a strong indication. Saying that you travel to enroll in GC is a weak reason since the wage in YL is higher so even if you buy and sell sulfur at a discount your still better off. Even if your brother really doesn't intent to run into your ambushes he acts careless and this could be easily avoided bx avoiding your routes (there are also jobs at EB) or giving him a warning when you ambush.

I can't imagine any self-respecting adult would do what you do and brag about it, and then call people kids. What does that make you, infant?
For the record, as much as I hate to admit it, I don't really consider your or the brothers' actions cheating; the rules are a bit fuzzy on this. I do, however, find your actions distasteful. You better hope that you will always have each other to play with, because I have a feeling that not many people are going to assist you in hunts or have anything to do with you, not the ones who know about you anyway. Of course, if the girlfriend or brother is imaginary, I suppose you won't ever have to worry about their not being available. |
Haven't bothered to read this thread past the 1st page and some of the last.
What i do know from Empire's own profile page is this though:
"All my decisions are final and are not the subject to disputes or persuations. There's no point in that."
Furthermore, if you have a problem with a mod/admin it would be best to bring the subject directly to them via the Secretary or PM.
I'm closing this only with this as an after thought, speaking off topic and name calling is forbidden. Breath deeply knowing you were spared without ban, etc. |
