:)) | i think there sould be a bank in game so people like me dont bet it or spend it on stuff and get a little intrest so uget a little money i was think 1% is good tell me what u think
If people like you want to bet or spend it on stuff, they'll just withdraw the gold from their bank account. Introducing a banking system to resist to your gambling addiction is doomed to fail.
Getting "a little interest" isn't very interesting either. If the rate is high enough to bring any noticeable return, it will lead people to stash their gold even more instead of spending it.
Actually, the game suffers more from lack of spending than lack of gold. | My suggestion for a bank:
A bank with 1% interest per month, whereas the money that really counts for interest calculations is the minimum of money that was in the bank in the total last month.
One has to pay a fixed amount of money to create account for 1 year. This could be dependant on the combat level of the player. For example combatlevel*2000 gold.
An example to make the moneygain clearer:
For the case of non increasing/decreasing money of the account.
One gets effectively 12,68% after this full one YEAR (not to forget that this game only exists for one year till now!). That means that you have to deposit atleast 150000 to get what you paid. Depositing 300k means you earn 38040 after one YEAR, in which you can't access the 300k! If the profit is not higher than only 1% per month this system would be nearly useless for the mainpart of all players.
Actually, the game suffers more from lack of spending than lack of gold.
Maybe you should play a spellcasting class and see that the game lacks of really MUCH gold. I could spend 600k easily in one hour (mini-arts and lvl 10 arts). Don't forget that i sold all elements i got from quests. Its very well known that caster arts and miniarts of wizards are too expensive, but thats not what we talk about here :P
I as wizard would like such a bank, in which i can store my gold until i have my half of a million to buy my miniarts. | #1

but if it is just a matter of holding gold aside (wich means, no interests whatsoever, so you greedy people don't start :D ), why not simply use a clan for it?
Money put in the treasury would just sit there for the member, to request when they need it for a "good reason". Of course, it sounds a little childish, but if that is the only way to help you not wasting them all in roulette.. |
