I don't see a big problem in having them high smith/enchanter skills. If I would like to get a good enchanted weapon, or this specific weapon repaired i go to someone like binghuo (just an example). Even IF they have a higher level in these guilds there are so many others that have aswell and these 2 guilds don't give a fighting advantage.
Smiths' and enchanthers' guilds give big economic advantage to the single players and his clan/friends. Indeed a bigger economic advantage than those a single low level players could gain by direct cheating. Follow this topic in the next weeks, you may find something that will surprise you. ;-)
It is not a net, it's a piramid scheme. A restricted group of players are gaining the bigger advantage without doing any cheating directly. This is why I use all this caution. I know I hardly be able to demostrate they are doing it on pourpose, but I will provide every evidence of direct illegal actions. Unfortunatelly I can act only like the anti-dugs police: I can help to catch the little pushers, but I cannot touch the big foreing drug lords. I hope to help admins to catch the big fishes. |
The problem is not that cheaters are in a clan but that they have free reign to cheat as much as they want.
As long as admins turn a blind eye to people who are identified as cheats by the honest players on this server there is no incentive from them to clean up their act.
What should have been a simple job of managing a small number of cheats has been left to grow so that it will now take many days of admin time to sort out. They are maybe scared to block them all as it may drastically reduce the number of players but in my opinion this is wrong as what is happening in reality is that good and honest players are leaving because of this lack of action and the percentage of cheaters as active players is gradually increasing.
I applaud your efforts Vonemar and all the other clan leaders like limustudotcom of #153 League of Shadows who conduct indepth evaluation of all applicants BEFORE sending an invite and take action against any cheats found.
A suggestion, if you have the time and inclination, would be to create a list of proven cheats which clan leaders could refer to when new applications are received. Name them and shame them! List them alphabetically with links to any posts in CaA.
Maybe you could also ask admin's to make you a MOD for the CaA topic where you could make some new rules: Each post MUST include the name of cheater in title, only one cheat (or multi ring) per post. You could then close all threads which dont follow these rules making it easier for admins to take action against the remaining ones? In time, hopefully they also give you rights to take action against cheats in the form of fines, removal of arts, reduction in xp/fsp/guild points, etc.

I'm trying to help the comunity as a simple member, because I enjoy this game since more than a year and I had great time with lot of you. It's something I'm doing to help US ALL to find a solution to the bigger problem of our server and to let honest players know about things they may ignore. |

More than 500 players, 46,7% (238) are cheaters. The leader told me that he is going to deal with the internal problem, I wish admins could help him a little with some sanction and block to the zound of cheater!
Even this time we have big deals for clan leader, enchanters, smiths and some recruiters.
It seems to me that gold never smels for those "fair" leaders, smiths and enchanters, isn't it? You don't cheat directly, but you are happy to use cheater's gold... Even eviction is an hard punishment for your mates that continue to cheat, isn't it? You hide them between your ranks and you draing gold from them. Donations of cheaters are very welcome, usless items to repair from a 3rd level multis are standard procedure to rise in your smith's level.

That is indeed disgusting! Many of those players are in multiple clans also. This is so out of hand that I am thinking about not buying any more diamonds until the rest of us are shown some respect and these cheaters are whacked. Why should I hand my money to the game when they won't even pay a person to clean this up? Thanks for pulling back the curtain to show what is going on. It is beyond sickening. You are also right about people taking cheaters gold and not caring because of greed. Keep it up admin and this game will collapse.
You cant even pay someone a few bucks to sweep the server? I paid you over 250 Euros myself in 5 months. Take some money and clean this up or you will eventually lose all donations! And to those who try and say it doesn't matter, you don't know what you are talking about. Honest players will only take this for so long before looking somewhere else to spend their time and money! |
Investigation on a 3rd clan finished
i hope that the other clans have clan leaders like dizbe who immediately evicted the cheaters on receiving the list of names . good work .
and many top level join multiple clans to get more cheaters to volunteer for using there services . Clans are turning into a cheaters resident to house and help them cheat .
it is a humble request to all clan leaders to appoint a clan member with a clean record to check out there clans . |

#59: I think that if you take one of the guys reported by him and check him out, you will find Vonemar's reasons. I think also that if the leaders started to evict those players, that means Vonemar brought quite solid pieces of information. |
