ViSao & Modi:
I am into the idea of creating a clan for GB, then we can get people in, and do GB battle, i'll figure out how we count the point and rank the clan. If u're up for the idea, let me know.
Already attempted by Hatred. And failed.

Gathering tournament participants in an ad-hoc clan is better to send group messages, but all other constraints - namely, finding opponents accordingly to each time zone - will remain. For that, using Group Battle channel is as good as checking people in such a clan. And not every tournament member will agree to join this clan anyway. In my humble opinion.
But you can spend 30'000 to check by yourself, of course. |
Already attempted by Hatred. And failed.
Don't know him. If the clan leaders want to make it a success we can work at it and give it our best shot.Maybe we fail. What's 30k to our clans at this point? We have willing players and we will see what we can come up with putting our minds together. |
Thank you for your support Kotrin, but don't compare Hatred to us. One people fail doesn't mean the rest of the world will fail. |
for ViSao:
Dont feel too offended by a simple information given by Kotrin.
I dont think Kotrin's intention was to say you will fail but to informed you that someone had failed at it already.
It seems that to you everyone wants your head down, relax :) |
As a matter of fact, i'm aware that Hatred made an attempt. And i'm aware of the reason why he fail. I'm not offended by the information at all. This clan was not execute by me, but by LOS, DS and SOD also, we all put our thoughts to make something happen. We may fail, but in this server, if it's not us who make an attempt, who will?
Dan-Panic: you know why i know he thinks that i'll fail? Cause of the last sentence, and i have no problem with that. So that's why i give him the benefit of the doubt that he's saying it in a supporting way. Who knows :) |
I also want to say that the tournament matches have been the most fun I have had after the Survival Tournament, even with all our problems. I met a lot of players I didn't know and enjoyed watching matches from all the clans I was invited to judge. Clans are communicating in ways they have not at least for a long time. The GB channel was active and launching battles and that inspired some of us. No shame in failing and it isn't even a wasted effort if we do. Some good things already came from this tournament so it is a success in that respect. Clan interaction is a good thing for the game. |
I think the main thing which destroys any tournament in between the clans is the fear of losing and the pride of the clan leaders. As ViSao mentioned in a previous posts, even "friendly" GB's can be regarded as a competition when the pride is too high.
Also, having a clan of GB's will ensure that the requirements for that GB will be fulfilled in most of the cases (of course, "errare humanum est" - to make mistakes is humanly). There were very few cases in this tournament when the mistakes were made, and that's why I am confident that a GB clan will bring a big advantage and less cheaters in our GB's.
So, let's leave the pride aside and try to be constructive all together! What is more important: each clan pride or setting this server on fire again? I vote for the second and I will do whatever I can to achieve that. |
Clan have been created. CG, after this week, total up all the score for our first round, then we'll open 1 week to get all participants in then we can start our 2nd round. Let's just play around a little with these tournament til we figure out the best way to host it. |

Come and join the new GB clan. All are welcome above 8th level. Contact one of our recruiters and send 500 gold for the invite. We are opening the clan to anyone who wants to join IF they are active GBers. You will have the chance to play for your clan and/or your own record that will be kept. As it is new, we will be working on a format until we are satisfied with a system. There should be plenty of players to GB with for fun also as we can set up practice battles from our clan chat. |
OK, ViSao.
Modi, I will send my warriors asap. |
No clan announced any other official group battle, so, the statistic remains the same. (this message is because of ViSao's request in post #271) |
our clan ancient guardians would like to take part |
