question: I've bought the graveyard upgrade, but my skeletons won't "turn" into skel bow men. Does anyone know what else I have to do?

is basic nature useful??
yes for raising and at level 10 for summoning phantoms...
I fought Vanguard of Elves {2} and receive 0 skeleton. is this normal or bugged?

I'm not sure but I think it is happened because you lost some of your reserve skele, so you didn't actually get more skele you just replenished your old amount. I always at the end of the combat raise as much skele as I can, so I don't loose my reserve.

But I don't keep close eye on the number of my reserve so I'm not so sure. Hope there will be someone who really know what happened.
Or it is just because you have 0 faction level. But I don't know how much skele can you get based on the faction level.

just finished- can some people please kindly give me advice on how i could have improved? even though i won.
and one more thing- i know in that game the knight played with really poor tactics, but i have a feeling that knights in level 8 and 9 are WAY overpowered in duels because of their 94 xbows. those xbows and 9 monks can mow down a complete stack of vamps and skels in 1 shot- it only takes 2 shots to completely destroy the whole skels and vamps ( and by then liches and ghosts are no use ) only in level 10 onwards do necros start to beat knights again- because of magic guild level 3 like confusion(on xbows etc). but at level 8-9, necros own barbs in duels. anyway im getting to level 9 in a few days. any tips for min ap duels?
the most ,the most iritating drawback o f necro is its luck as talent.the rings r useless

i have just decided to try this marvellous faction. at lvl 10.. and faction 0.. of course im experiencing serious problems. in hunts mostly.
i will do ambushes as much as possible to get my fsp up. so- can any wise necro give a noob some advice? as far as i can see it for thieving: ambush with min arts, without intention of win- just for fsp. my best bet for talents is- all up to expert defense. as i have only 92 skellies vit isnt that good option. as my troops will be wiped out pretty fast, i see no sense in basic nature magic also.

any talent advice for hunts? i know i havent got magic guild 3 for phantom, which makes things more complicated, but i will get it really soon.

what talents should i use for min ap group battles?

I think its very good if you go mass poison build and do PvP / caravans
A few people I know switched at the blindfold tournament to necromancer.
They had a low faction level, so they went in, poisoned everyone, and died. But the poison was still ticking so they received pretty good fsp.
Sadly, he can't do a poison build either without the Lvl3 mage guild. Poison build is fun, a lot of fun, but VERY expensive.
He can do poison build with lvl 2 mage guild, so he can have his fun with mass poison.

I was under the impression that phantoms can be recast once the phantom dies, but in my battle I couldn't cast a 2nd bowmen phantom after the 1st bowmen phantom died. I could only cast it on liches.

Is there anyway to control where the phantom appears? Does it appear at a random location next to the stack? For small stacks there are up to 8 possible locations. For large stacks I count up to 14 possible adjacent positions.
Actually I count 16 positions now for large units. This is all assuming there's nothing bordering the stacks and all tiles are open.

Only one phantom of each stack can be created in any one combat.
