I got told, from someone I wont named, that =====> in chat is flood, but DeathIsNear has been defending the fact that =====> was in forum, I think theres something that have changed since the new mods are in post. Oh yeah, interpretations of the rules ! lol

Thats the only way I see how we can actually improve this server and fix its problems. If Moderators arent replying on player's mails, where it has interesting contains, well thats going against the actual greater good of the server and I consider this saboting the efforts to make it better. |
Another thread where a lack of efforts from a Moderator has been made. And also where we can see that Level 1 player cannot report players nor send mails to the Secretary or Admins to actually have a say about someone or ask for more detail from admins on a block/fine penality they got.

Clearly level 1, so the only place in forum she can post is in QaH, also it has been asked by me in QaH if a Level 1 player can reach the Secretary, the answer has been 'NO'. The only place she could report is actually in QaH forums.
Her thread has been lock by one of our finest, and with the reply left, you can actually see that the mod hasnt made any effort to actually take into consideration that the Level 1 is restricted to the simple part of the forum

Also, the thread raise a valid point about partiallity of the administration of the game. Just like the player Keygen who finally got blocked after many months and times of being reporter and hid by higher instance.

(I doubt that any new player that joins the game reads, understands and cares about the rules so that it starts checking the transfer logs of high level players to see if there's anything wrong with them. Someone seems to be shy when it comes to using his main account to say what he thinks. I smell unsigned multies.)
Anyway, back to the main idea, well, it is clearly written in the local rules of QaH: Questions regarding penalties, unblock requests, and other kinds of communication with Administration are made with the help of Secretary (https://www.lordswm.com/pl_info.php?id=4). If your combat level is below the 3rd and you can't use the private mail - either raise your level or ask your friends or clanmates. Contacting the Administration via "Queries & Help" is SENSELESS.
It's not that hard to reach level 3 if you want to contact the admins. I think it's a good "natural" spam and junk message filter.
And now getting back to what I first wrote, if he/she really wanted something to be done, his/her main account should've been used. |

It seems that since the head of official clans have changed, new set of 'Rules' have been applied to the moderators' duties. Now moderators can be online and appear in chat without taking one of their duty into consideration. Answering newbies' questions.
Yes, it is written in the official chat moderation clan that 'Answering Newbies' Questions is one of their duties and plus even a pleasure for them to answer'. So why I do see a lot of time chat moderators online and in chat not answering newbies' questions ? New rules from the Head, slacking off on job, doing something else more important then helping the newbies with the game ?? I wonder, but thats not right, chat moderators should do ALL their duties.

Now that the administration is back, the new ones get paid ?? Even the Trainees ?? and the Inactives mods ??. Wow, I want explanation as to why the work of the new mods are now so highly rewarded and the one that old mods is not ??

After discovering this I thought I would scan my own salaries for being a mod here on lwm. I can’t say that after nearly 2 years of service to this game/community/the admins that I can say I disagree with Dan posting this comment above.
Keep in mind that during the MAJORITY of my time as a mod I served in at least 2 mod clans – and for some of the time 3 clans, AND I wrote the Home Page Announcements for a good amount of time. We’re not saying “Give us our money too!” (I believe) we’re just saying, this looks (is) very shady considering that for most of the time in the past the mods held this entire server on their shoulders and were given less than 1/4 the cost of some of these new mods (or in Dan’s case he received…0 gold).
