Yup, but I still think the winner will be someone who is hardly qualifying from the groups.. Because this just happened 2 years ago at Euro 2008 (Spain didn't start as it finished) and 4 years ago at Germany 2006 (when Italy won). |

This is still the pool stage - Italy is alive and fighting having drawn their first match against Paraguay 1:1.
Tonight they vs. New Zealand ( a match I am dreading :P ) Which should swing in Italy's favour.
I wouldn't mind watching the match between Slovakia and Paraguay. They are fairly equally matched teams. |
And so NZ can also draw against the defending champions, Italy!!! 1:1

Wooohooo! I never expected us to be able to tie with Italy... I hope the next game we play against Paraguay is a win. :P Our Prime Minister left the country to go and watch the Italy match live ;)

Oh yes.. but that ivorian put his hands on his face, not on his chest (where he really was hit) :( after the 3rd goal, the match changed because of a lot of fouls.. However, I'm happy Drogba scored a goal, they deserved this because they played pretty good in the 1st half and the first part of the 2nd (+ the goal). |
