I just saw this topic, and i intend to leave my opinion here and i will tell the truth only, i dont really care if you believe it or not.
That guy has logged on from my IP and i have logged on from his IP, i know him in real life but i never gave my pass to him, i had my lvl 14 account why would i need other accounts???

So guys YES you can be blocked for no reason today. Or they can find a lame reason if they "don't like you". Because i don't think there is another way to prove the opposite of my case. Even though i have sent letter to admins with a very clear explanation and i hope they will understand me, otherwise i don't know what will i do... |
Sigh. Well, this seems to be the 3rd thread about the same issue. There is really nothing we can do here. Block/unblock, prove/disprove, one way or another, this will become just a thread full of accusations and admins bashing. (I dont eat the "they dont like me" anyway..)
1.5. The Administration has a right to stop offering the service to any particular user, subnetwork, or in global.
Its one of the first rules. Right to block anyone for any reason, they dont need to prove/explain/excuse..etc.
I hope you will get your unblock, but with each passing day, hope fades away. After all, scamming attempts and password transfer are serious violations and its sad that you got yourself into it by accident. |

As i clearly stated before i don't care if you believe me or not. Those who have respect for me they will believe the rest i don't know...
Who remembers the good old days when arctic was online? Everything was discussed and if he was wrong he would accept and reverse decision. But where are those days now? Where are the Townhall Metting answers? Admins were "offline" for a long time, and than a beautiful sunny day they come back give just 2 events and block a hell a lot of people? I know they have the right and they don't need to explain anything and after all this is just a game, but they should at least say smth like "we can block without warning and no decision revision is available". So we are prepared at least and not spend a lot of time in a level 14 account and than get blocked for a small misunderstanding.
I would really appreciate your guys point of view without blaming the admins you can blame me and say that the admins were wrong but nothing else, cuz this is just a topic to see what the majority thinks maybe? |

Admins dont just go through blocking by pressing block this player
They can also block any accounts played from an IP
Oviously black_monsters played from MyDooms IP and so, he along with anyother accounts played from it were blocked
EG: Sisters, cousins friends that have played from his house, if one of them does something illegal, and gets blocked

Well, looking at the whole post 25 now:
1. Are admins here?
2. Are they fair?
3. Are they active and nice?
4. Should we have more communication with them?
5. Can we have more communication with them?
6. Do we blame admins for blocking people?
7. Do we think sharing computer with those who break the rules is ok, how do we then draw the line between those who cheat and those who share computers with cheaters?
8.Should the players be warned like it was before?
9.Or should the players be blocked quickly?
These questions and more will be answered after a short commercial break. I would lock this instantly for various rule breaks, besides the fact we have gone totally off-topic, but until it becomes totally flamy, floody, etc. I think we can let this open, since it would be only a matter of few hours until someone opens similar topic again. I hope this is the last one about MyDoom. |

It looks to me that the admins just simply block all the characters which had logged from that IP without checking anything. Do you think a lv 14 player will be that stupid to try to scam some other player, or password transfer to a lv 4 player, definitely it will cause a block. We know how much time and effort we had put on this game.
I think in this case admins here just show their rudeness and arrogance. They didn't check the details. They didn't give any warning. They just block you in one press and screw up 2 years' effort of a player. IS THAT FAIR? If you have time, why not put some effort to bring us some update like dwarf war?
LOWM is the best browser game I have ever played, but at this moment I am really disappointed to the admins. |

true.... my Ip clashes with many cyber s in the city as my net was down for the past 6 months..... + i really don't know who all play from my city so how can a player like me defend myself....
I think we should start using a court with juries... when ever a case like this comes they discuss it in chat .... i mean the chat mods( to ban unwanted people)
Empire(admins) and the juries and then they can prob decide what o do the accused gets a chance to defend himself.....

i have seen old players who are friends of admins making mistakes and the result only thier multi getting blocked/penalty... the exact case is not know to me as i never played on .ru but they do get preferance

I don't want to go too much in the specific of MyDoom since this is only one blocked account of the many that have been blocked recently (and anyway, I remember MyDoom was in my clan and he did something wrong so that my clan boss throw him out ... don't remeber the details, so this is not an accuse of rule violations ... just something that topped to my mind).
Now, for months we have been whining that cheaters were not blocked, that admnis were not doing their job, that there were no updates, etc. ... what happened?
UPDATES: everybody complaining about them (for right or not)
BLOCK: everybody complaining about them (for right or not)
ANYTHING: everybody complaining about them (for right or not)
so, look things from the other side: admins are using their time to create a game that is truly great, they are trying to make some money out of it, but see their work spoilt by cheaters, whiners, etc. -> what would you think of that?
One last word on blocks: I am really sure that admins have solid evidence that something is wrong before they block an ID ... for example, 10 people logging at the same time (or in a very small time) from the very same PC repeatedly; repeated offers in the market above/below market price to feed one account from multis; and the list can go on indefinetely, just take a look at CoA
... not saying this is MyDoom case, it is just a general observation ...
And finally, regarding MyDoom, he has been blocked by adm, but I think he was not reported in the CoA ... this is to me a great sign of activity from adm (even if they may have done something wrong in the specific case) |

Mmmh, I wouldn't bet on that. Everything is tracked here - everything. In my opinion even deleted messages are not "deleted" for everyone.
They're not able to provide us events or to have a consistent date format throughout the website, but for watching players' moves they're number one :D |

I am still very close friends with Vonemar and i will tell him to support what i am saying.

I said already that I did not have the details of what happened btw you and my clan (I just mentioned it because Vonemar kicked out many players because they did not respect rules, the last one very recently --- but this is not your case, then) ... and all my 3d is more general, not specific to you ... If it has been a mistake from admins, I am very sorry for you (and hope you get your account back), but I am pretty sure that 99% of the blocked players deserved that |

Sorry MyDoom, you misunderstood my point. I meant that all your relatives (okay, guys playing from same IP) got banned. So actually the MyDoom- lv14 account wasn't the only one who got banned. Your brother and cousin were victims too.
