And it's alway a good choice to transfer all illegal gold to character "Empire" and apologize for rule breaks. :)

can i just say that jrooke is my friend not merlin36 my brother he came to my house. merlin had put the description in before and he clicked that by accident and not just making a clan.

I would start with 500 gold joining fee and no taxes for now, unless your clan provides some really unique services or you have many friends who are interested in it.
There are many clans around, competition is hard. ;) |

Yes, that would be the usual way.
But the new member could also transfer the 500 gold directly you too, that way jrooke saves the transfer tax. Unless you make jrooke treasurer, too. Then there would be no difference.
Note: Transfers to or from clan treasury are not taxed by Empire. |

thanks for that i understand now but shall i make it 550 joining fee because that may work but i cant make all my recruiters treasurer's can i. and also i read the rules and leaders aren't supposed to recruit many people recruiters are supposed to recruit everybody |

Just let the recruits transfer the gold directly to you, you won't have problems then.
Leaders are free to recruit players, too. You've probably misunderstood something in rules. |
3.26.2. Only clan Recruiters may be awarded for bringing newer recruits into the clan. Clan leaders are advised to limit the recruiting duties to official Recruiters.
Clan ranking systems, as well as any relevant rewards, are still legal, if no other rule is broken in the process.
