What are the best tactics for a lvl8 elf against a knight with the typical build - max sword and monks, then xbows. TYpically this leads to 50+ swords, 35 xbows, 9 monks and 16 griffs?
How to beat that? |
i am a knight.
i think its very hard in your level to beat knight, but try this setup.
split your bows into 2 stacks, split druids into 2 stacks to stoneskin efk and unicorn.
strategy:
usually knights setup is, bows in corner and next it will be monks.
kill griff with bows and druids and move you efk upto a tile which can reach bows and monks.
usually knights protect bows with 1 farmer or 1 swords. kill it with hero then next efk turn you can reach bows and monks.
always stay out of xbows range and also huge stack of swords.
if you manage to finish bows and monks without losing much of your troops, i am 80% sure you can win. Good luck:) |

being an lvl8 or high lvl Elf, win against knight is always difficult, if knight have monks, guardians etc. eddy's point was good for some extent,but not very successful every time especially against high racial knight. |

| ya, ive checked a few other battles as well. Its practically impossible for elf to beat knight at lvl8. Almost any troop distribution for knight pwns elf! :( |
| drdre23coz basically knight was a defensive function, they won battle in long run. each function have some weakness and strength v/s some other functions.i think elf is good against demon |

nope,until level 9 elf rules every faction.i defeated every faction in duel without much problem.of course except wiz & a bit of knight.level 10 i didnt try much.
But from all points of view(except hunt) elf of level 10 is the weakest of all faction. |

I defeated all elves with my demon in lvl9. they are not a big problem. they are very low in defence besides u can't expect efk to deal good dmg always. |

Not just in lvl9 i've have beaten elf since lvl6. it really depends on how u play. some people fear elf just because of their 3 or 4 luck. i generally advice my friends to play brave and the victory is urs.
another thing i hate is that people say that i won coz my opponent was not good enough. as if the players u played against were so good. come on u don't find too many noobs in in higher lvl. |
