i didnt mean to discuss any answers i m just warning great barb not to ask these
questions. by no way i m defying point 4 |
so any guess! |
for no name : i cant be disqualified as i am not taking part |
still, people who will see the answers will take advantage of it ! :) |
well, i m using simple English in this topic. i failed to see how the hell all those players asking question which shouldnt be ask. just read those rules and regulations, follow them.
for some questions like 'can a level 3 allow to join?', 'can a multi id join?':
very funny. you have alot information about those in help manual and game rules. but, you are trying to apply a moderators positions without any basic knowledge on the system and game rules.
other question like 'when was the result out?', 'how much salary can i get?','how much you going to recruit?':
in fact, candidates need NO to know. it is either you apply and get a chance to be recruited OR you dont apply and that's it.
that's why i ignore this topic in most of time without any reply. but, i just cant stop laughing whenever i read this topic. |

I'm sorry but which part of it was funny. The Game Rules are clearly missing it and its a loop hole that i can use to send my secondary to become a moderator. it is my mistake to think that there is someone with SUFFICIENT power at this server who may notice it and change/keep it or ask it from the administration.
And what gives you the right to mock us with examining our knowledge of the game rules? Your response gives out the answer to the Q6. The game rules is hardly sufficient and believe me that anyone with sufficient life experience can use all of it like the person who wrote them.
I still think that the rule for 1 mod in a MC is wrong. its like saying that no 2 judges in 1 family. If this is true then the game already needs someone to look after Moderator wrong doings. |

I disagree. No matter how rigid the screening process for new mod is, there will always be a chance that a bad (unfair and biased) mod will be elected. Having 1 mod per clan limits the damage caused when this happens. Well, at least it limits the possibility of 1 clan dominating forum wars or something. I like forum wars. |
The Possibility of unfair and biased Decision does not allow us to restrict it. its like saying that don't give a knife to anyone in the kitchen since one may use it differently. In this case when we are in a computer world(easy to control) its a lot easier for someone to check on the moderators. If not there is no difference if the players are from 1 clan, Country, region.
We are all here to enjoy the game and allow others to enjoy it too. |

There is no loophole here, actually. You are free to send in a application to register your additional character for the forum moderator post, but acceptance is solely at the discretion of the recruiter.
Besides, if by any chance an additional character do get selected as a moderator, she would be in an difficult position to communicate and explain herself at the forums, since messages at the main forums are supposed to be through your main character.
We are all here to enjoy the game and allow others to enjoy it too.
If you are looking for enjoyment in forum moderation, you are looking at the wrong place, my friend. :) |

In an ideal world, I would agree with you. And the knife and kitchen analogy is off. Cooking is a necessary daily activity, being a mod is a privilege that you do not need to survive, either in real world or in this game.

So you're suggesting that we elect even more people to watch the watchers? That's an unnecessary complication. I prefer the current system of limiting 1 mod per clan. I like simplicity.

It's not only about that. There's also the possible conflict between your friends/clan and your mod duty. Mods watch each other (I think). If you're a mod and you question the decision of your fellow mod who also happens to be a clanmate, do you think this will just pass without consequences within your clan? There are reasons why doctors are discourage from treating their own family members. |

I meant that Must be the goal for everyone. If your goal is to enjoy and let others enjoy too, then why hurt others who play fair and why not to help others.
by the way, yes. I will enjoy being a moderator since i can help more and make the players enjoy the game more than ever.

but is it only the cook who should use the knife or can someone else help too? I really want to help the game and as a moderator i will not care about the clan. so it all depends on what part i am playing. While in a clan i have the responsibilities of the clan like training recruits or participate in events and if i am a moderator i will do its responsibilities. I will not put my clan over the whole game in this.

it's already like this. You can always go to the secretary with big problems and it will take effect if you are just. But only a perfect game will keep good players in and add more to it and we should make this game perfect.

That is what i just answered: "I will not put my clan over the whole game in this." by the way doctors are discouraged but not banned from treating their own family. |

Everyone applying for modship says this. It doesn't really mean they'll be a good mod or not. I'm sorry but I do not trust you. I like things the way they are. 1 mod for every military clan. |
Ok, guys. No more arguing. At least not on this thread. Take it to PMs between the two of you. Leave this thread for questions regarding the recruitment. |
I wasn't arguing. We were just talking and trying to figure out the best way to do this. Anyway, I'm sorry for making it long. and thanks to all friends for advices specially Grusharaburas. |
Disagreements keep the forum alive. XD |
Perhaps it could be made an Idea or Suggestion thread, that way your conversation could continue and the admins *may* look it over. Just be careful you don't take it too seriously, it is just a game after all. |
