It has been easy to pwn barb with knight all through to lvl 6 for me (although didnt do a single PvP on lvl 6)
After lvl 5,everyone will tell you how,and before lvl 5,I will help ya out
The Biggestt weakness = They NEVER/RARELY split.
Barbs never split, but you will split into as many small, equal ones ans you can (Same thing for elves EB) and suppose you have 4 stacks worth 5 each
Their 1 big orc stack kills 1 small one of yours/turn while your 3x5 kill 3 outta 12 (I guess) while most barbs will send their wolves to die.
This way,you take retal with farmer and finish off wolf with swordsman and advance towards the orcs, attacking orcs only with your hero.
when swords are within reach, kill the goblin you want to make space for sword to enter (your bows might have died by now or a single one would be remaining max while his orcs will have about 5 left in it).
So now you kill the gob with hero/bow volley (Warning! Do NOT volley till the orc stack is below 5,you want him dead) and then sword reaches min estimate = -3/-2 to orc depending on how much damage your swordsman has taken by the wolf and the orc while reaching here. 2 orcs left and you dont need any of my advice now,you can finish off 2 orcs cant you ;-).
Also HIGH FSP IS THE KEY FOR KNIGHTS. With 0 Faction Level, you cant defeat a barb. Get 2 or 3,then my given strategy works really well. With 1,it might be still tough | Some corrections
Barbs never split their orcs (Although sometimes make two of them) or wolves, but you will split your bowmen into as many small, equal ones as possible
And yeah in case their are two, both get a shot each, rather than a volley. It seriously lowers dmg | What makes you think that barbs would send their wolves to die? Your strategy would only work against a noob. swords have 4 speed, 8 ini, wolves have 6 speed, 11 ini. It is the barb who can take retal of swords and then double strike it. Any barb who plays decently will attack the swords before they attack him. | please continue here if you have questions about knight.
