I think this makes it the biggest inter-clan event not created by the admins!

Is this all the MCC is going to be? A larger, MC version of the GB Clan?
Do the MCC organiszrs have any way of directly communicating with the admins?
When this clan was officially endorsed did anyone involved get a "Red Phone" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_phone) to make contact with the admins?
While these "circuses" may amuse the masses, is anything *really* being done to advance the future of this server? If so, what?
If some progress is being made in this area, surely it will do no harm to let us know how things currently stand in "negotiations" with the Game Administration? This must surely be the critical issue that needs to be addressed?

This goes beyond the GB clan.
This is about more than event, and it has a healthy set-up for trying to get a good democratic dialogue between MC
The MCC is already been made official, that is more success than most people thought.
Trying to talk it down, seems weird when it achieved more in shorter time than previous lesser ambitious projects

5. Proposals or Official Stands of the Council are to be made directly to the Admins or posted in the Game Forum, or both, depending on which is the case;
7. It should be matter for discussion:
7.1. Proposals to change the rules of the game;
7.2. Proposals to create/adjust current or future events;
7.3. Proposals to improve the game in any way;
7.4. Official Military Clan Council stand on any matter regarding the game.
The reference to the GB clan is an attempt to show that *many* attempts have been made before to create events outside those provided by the admins. Having the first act of the MCC being *yet* *another* *attempt* at providing distractions rather than trying to engage the Admins in how the game can be improved is, IMO, a little lame. I've pointed out in the past that such things don't require an "Official Clan".
Personally I was hoping that the MCC might be reporting back to outline discussions with the Admins.
So is there any progress on talking with the admins? Or is this event the full extent of what the MCC has achieved in the last 4 weeks?
Are events like this the only planned activity of the MCC? What else is being worked on? Or is any progress on matters like this supposed to be "ultra-top-secret"?
Don't get me wrong, I'm happy that there is yet another attempt at creating interest in this server. But, IMO, getting the Admins involved with this server is *the* *Key* *issue*. If the MCC isn't tackling this problem, why not?

primary goals of the MCC (as published in #739 Clan's description):
7. It should be matter for discussion:
7.1. Analysis and review of game rules to assist the Empire to fix possible loopholes/misinterpretations;
7.2. Creation of Semi-Official Events and assistance to the Empire in Official Events;
7.3. Analysis and compilation of data to provide references/fundamentals to Empire to improve the gameplay;
as you can see, it's a work team we're putting together - not a roundtable for chatting away our problems.

we're all hoping the MCC can be that "bridge" between the players and the admins. but the job of putting the MCC up and running is not quite finished yet. we're working on it; it's not something to be done overnight.

yes.

this event serves 2 distinct purposes: pave the way for the MCC to come together as a working team (it's by working together that we become a working team), and bring some extra activity to the server. the first of these purposes is obviously the most important to us.

If the MCC isn't tackling this problem, why not?
but it IS tackling that problem. just don't expect instant results. both you and Elven speak of failed past attempts of doing something to change affairs (like the GB clan, or the Juries Official Clan). well, don't forget Rome only conquered Carthage at the third attempt. i won't promise the MCC will work, i only promise we'll give it our best shot. make an effort and do support us. |

It doesn't hurt to let the community know what is going on occasionally. After all, the MCC is supposed to be representing a group including many of the most active players on the server. And I'm sure we're all interested in hearing about what is going on.

indeed... and thank you for bringing up those issues. also, don't forget to keep in touch with your MC reps in the MCC - they can always submit issues for discussion/awareness, and give you feedback afterwards. the MCC is not a secretive clan (although there is a limit to what can be disclosed).
and the most important fact atm: the MCC is not fully operational yet. it may take a while - it's not completely up to us (*hint*) |

not until they say so, as you can easily imagine. everything that is not (yet) official, is officially speculation.

though non-MC players lack representation, the MCC is considering open-to-all events on occasion, so that everyone in our community can benefit from the extra activity provided. but no specific formats are in discussion at this point; we'll wait until this event is over. |

This event is a good way to fight side by side with you clan mates. It is structured so it is fair and fun from level 5-15
Together we have all killed 442656 Killed Units, that amounts to 13241707 Hp
