Dark Elves have lost their ability to fractional penetration of magical protection, instead of having the most effective skill against all factions, which gives them defense in battle equal to (Magic + Knowledge) * ([10 + (skill hero )]%).
25 SP + 8 KN = 32
Faction 8 is common in lvl 12.
32 * 0.18 = 5.94 additional DEF
Wizzy with equivalent faction get to choose +6 DEF to mini arts. However, comparing wiz and DE is misleading. DE relies in killing quickly his ennemies with elemental call while wizzard is much more resilient, killing slowly the ennemy. | + wizard enjoys a big adv compared to magic DE: Bonus in hunts. With this change, genies wouldn't charge at DE that easily.
This is what I feel might happen with this update: Those who face Mage DE will be sad . But the mage DE themselves will remain sad at not much change in hunts/ winning STs. So it will create sad people in other faction while mage DE's real problem wouldn't be solved.....
P.S- I am a little pessimist but it would be good if anyone can find a good use for this update to the community although discussion will not change the update. I just want to see good side..... |
