^Dont you think giving the female more powers is discrimination on the basis of gender ? This is the only game which gave someting a bit unfair based on gender.plus its only tourneys,u still got hunts events and normal pvps. |
For eddy_fish
I wouldn't mind favoring a bit more women than men in this game, still you can't really know if a female character belongs to a real male or female :) |
The presents where really awesome, mainly for female DE who instead using the bow would use that op wings. |
Well I believe all the posts here were made by men except Swiftgirl, you guys shall at least listen to a female (in real life,if there is still any in .com?). Or just leave it and enjoy the men's "victory". |
As a female character and a female player, I am happy to have some special artifacts in this game, but I think these should be for fun only. For example, I got some from my hubby and friends as bday or new year gifts.
I understand some female players are sad about this change, but it is very reasonable that male players are on the other side. It is ridiculous to require everyone to oppose such great balancing change.
To Eddy:
I don't think any female player (or say any player) will join this game only because of these more powerful artifacts. |
still you can't really know if a female character belongs to a real male or female
And it should not even be an issue. This is not a dating site, after all. It's kind of a bad thing though because I made my multi female exactly in case of abundance of better artifacts for women. What's really disturbing about having a female toon is the kind of mail you get. I had to block messages for all levels. I would not be surprised if there are ladies in real life who choose to play with male toons. XD |

Agree. Actually I think the female-only artifacts did encourage some players to register with a female character. This is annoying and definitely not expected.... |
It would be the same result if a vote had been held before this change was made, and I'd not be surprised for a overwhelming ratio of pros to cons.
For game-play issues, personally I understand and accept such changes. Take ST for example, it not a required factor to wear presents to win a tournament. There were many cases when a male character with decent shop artifacts got to rank first. And I believe with equal conditions there is still a chance for female characters to win a tournament. Luck and skill decides.
My opposition just came from the economic side, this sudden, unannounced change caused a loss of over 40k gold to me (8,750 for an unused Charming bouquet, 16,100 for an Armor of elegance and 14,700 for a Temptress` boots), which is definitely a critical amount at my combat level, and this loss may not in any way be refunded (presents cannot be sold in market, and nobody will now intend to rent it). It would be much better if it started from 107th ST on, leaving a week or so for buffering. |
for SunnyDaisy:
Really annoying when I read some of the .ru ST fanatics' personal pages and they said they were guys registering female characters :( Typical examples are https://www.lordswm.com/pl_info.php?id=4175296 and https://www.lordswm.com/pl_info.php?id=4175316
It's quite a common case at low combat levels. |
8,750 for an unused Charming bouquet, 16,100 for an Armor of elegance and 14,700 for a Temptress` boots
Wrong calculation. You will lose only 15% of the original price for new items, not to mention that you have used some of them and also one of them is a gift. It is another story if you want to use all them up. |
For SwiftGirl:
You might feel better after hearing my case :)
At level 7, I bought the thief invitation before the merge at 1150k and so when I am able to sell my invitation in this server I will lose around 600k. |
