Good theory barbarian-fishy. I think that that is the reason why Blindfold tournaments aren't a test of pure skill |
this is a great walkthrough... ill try and remember it for the next blindfold tournament;) |
I disagree,
im playing with tribals level 13 with upgraded warlords, and im always the 1st to get targeted by all and to die 1st, in the 2 games that i wasnt, i ended up winning them. so i cant agree with that...
Tribals are easier to kill in the beginning, so they are targeted first.
And by the way who is " Niccolo Machavelli" |
for TribalPeter2:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Niccol%C3%B2_Machiavelli |
be carefull also from the magic elf they must die first with tribal |
Nice guide. Do all the above and pray. It reminds me indeed Machiavelli!
Tribals must die first, else they kill everybody and their moms. Elves are targeted first for the same reason.
I would also like to add:
- Make a wizard your best friend. stick around, block his opponents to keep them away from him and you will be rewarded :P |
This tournament along with mixed is awesome due to random factors that mess the game balances :P |
thanks to all who praised my work. Also thanks to those who are adding theories here.
I will also be adding a wizard guide due to popular demand. I will also add a few more theories soon |
For Wizards-
You guys are gonna be targeted at each lvl but dont worry, Just play defensive as most of your melee units are made for defensive tactics. Use your casters to flow with the pack. I mean only hit those who are being hit by others. The less attention you attract, the longer you survive. The good thing for low level wizards is that your golems and gargoyles die a slow death. By then you can use up your mana to bring down big stacks. After getting magic arrow you just need to play defensive and if you are being targeted try your best to run with enchanted or normal gargs. Keep escaping and use up all your mana to bring down strong creatures who pose a danger to you. You guys should actually finish off your magi/lorekeepers mana quickly before they die so that they can leave some destruction on other armies before dying. But remember, always keep to attacking one lord. So atleast you can get an extra point.
Another theory for every faction-
If you want to create a fight with someone make sure you start by inflicting maximum damage on him. Do not just hit him with your hero dealing only little damage. Use your strongest shooter/caster to start with. Make sure you can provide your opponent a heavy blow before he gets the chance to attack you. That is what I call usage of the SURPRISE FACTOR!!! |
I am actually quite relieved to hear there will be many more BFT's coming cause i thought I was too late with this |
I think it's hilarious that someone could think that a comparison to Niccolò Machiavelli is entirely complimentary.
You should really look it up, it has some baggage associated with it.
Grunge |
Grunge, couldnt understand what you said? If you clear it a bit i may improve... |
one tactic i have seen that works very well is when people pretend to be afk untill the perfect time is there |
Good work kushagra5 |
for kushagra5: Machiavelli was a manipulative person and a bit of...(how to put this)..bad guy. So you know it is not a compliment to be compared with him ;) |
Brainwise, he was genius. I know and hope these guys didnt mean it the bad way and actually intended to show that is a master-piece.:)

I am ashamed of scared players like Lord Cornholio who are mailing me saying that russian players can easily escape the tactics of my guide. Please lord and ladies, the russians are also the same lords with the same units like you. Apart from some fsp difference they got nothing to boast about. Try to understand, they are no masterminds. They are simple lords and ladies like us. Thank you to those who imbibe by this and are not scared of those russians and are showing them the skills of .com players. We should hold on! Whats the point in giving up if you see a russian guy. We are no Lless! |
Oh and those who are searching lord cornholio it is not lord cornholio it is
Great Cornholio (As if i care LOL, such guys can never be great. they are always a bunch of loseres!) |
Here are the ideal things you should do in order to have the best chances of winning the fights:
-I- How not to get attacked in the first turn:
1. Make sure your troops defend. This way your defense will be higher then the attackers offense and they will tend to look for an easier target.
2. Get avoidance talent, so the enemy shooters won't focus you at first
3. Get barrier so magicians won't focus you.
4. Wait for others to start the fight
-II- How not to take damage in turns 2-5
1. Look at the players fighting each other. Chose to help the one near you, or the one with the best chances to win that fight.
2. Start attacking with your shooters and hero, so you troops won't go waywardness
3. Keep defending with your melee units
4. If another hero near you is attacked, go in and help him with your archers and hero. It's important to make allies that are near you!
-III- How to win
1. Make sure you have 2 allies, that are already being attacked and weakened, but still powerful enough to inflict some damage
2. Attack with your melee units the most powerful hero remaining. At this point there should be only 4 of you on the battlefield.
3. When only 3 of you remain, start attacking the most powerful between those 2.
4. Finish the last one. |
Hmm, thats a bit optimistic kind of guide sir morphius but its fine. It is tough to actually implement what you said |
