| I think the hamster can appear in any type of battle, since I have seen it appear in hunts, merc quests, ambushes, STs, group battles, and duels. So back to the original question - I think hamsters can appear in defenses as well, but I'm not sure since I've never seen it happen. |

Hamsters come every millionth battle
usually yes, but there were already some exceptions. I guess that there is a probability to get a hamster every millionth battle (let's say 99.99%) and there is also probability to get a hamster in not a millionth battle (already happened) (let's say 0.01% probability)
There exits also a clan with hamster killers. There're some people who killed him/them multiple times. And there exist some persons who refuse to kill hamsters ;), so they just loose a battle.

Not really. It is scripted to always come on millionth battle. Combat #160792403 was a troll prank by admins =) So it can't be considered neither rule nor exception for it.
However note that the hamster comes not on first turn, but somewhere further into the combat. If a combat ends too quickly, it will simply not have the time to appear. |
