Found something very interesting.
Suppose you don't ever find out you have a hunt pending.
Then, even if you change locations using the urls, your hunt won't get passed.
For example, I just finished a mg quest, and moved back to ER using only urls. Had a hunt ready immediately ;) |

isn't tbh a silly phrase when you think about it.
To be honest.
It implies that normally one is not honest when speaking, and that this time one is actually telling the truth.
It is like when people start a sentence with "I don't mean to be rude, but"
They have every intention of being rude, it is hardly accidental, they just don;t want to seem to be.
Anyway, I don't want to offend anyone that uses those phrases, just something I thought tbh......... ;) |

I usually use tbh when countering someone's anger, usually something like
"Its always broken"
"Tbh, it was fine last time, probably just a once off." |

We do have this expresion in my native, the proper use of it is when you are going to say something that you know that the other person won't like or agree with it.
So it is more like, I will be honest with you even though I know you won't like it than I am dishonest in general and will be honest now. |
| While on the subject of use of certain phrases in English, does anyone else get mildly irritated by the fact that the normal phrase for if someone sneezes is based on religion, "bless you" which then feels slightly less sincere given that I am an atheist. |
| That is totally wrong, the italians, who are christian af use ‘salute’ and the germans use ‘ gesundheit’ , in the indian culture there sre region specific onomatopoeic words, not every response to sneezing is religion based. Is it a staple in english? Yes. Is it a staple everywhere? No. Is it religion based? Maybe but nobody thinks of religion when they say bless you. |
