Yeah to level 5 and camp there. Its more fun there since you can do events also if you find any useful.

WG needs to done daily and can't be farmed all at once like AG. Better to do it daily.
AG otoh, you should try to do as much in lower levels as in higher levels, you'll also have to deal with castle costs. |

for each faction, you get to do in AG in easy,normal and hard mode.
if you complete easy fully you get 80 points. 100 and 120 points for the rest.
but completion here isn't just completion of battles but also how well you do those battles (same way WG works), so you could the points mentioned above are the max points possible for a particular difficulty.
you need to do AG in multiple factions, because that's how it is set up. if you complete all the campaign in one faction at hard mode - that only gives you 480 points. you need to repeat that with all the factions to get AG 3
this is obviously much harder as you lvl up. because you need full castle and good fsl to get the max points not to mention rare sets for some campaigns.
hence, the more you do in lower levels, the easier it is long term
