Yes... the translation implies that gold received will be equal to the total amount of silver earned. Unless it's a translation error, then they are not equal but surely related. |

I think it depends on your build and your priorities
Personally I doubt increasing their durability is much use
I think you get an increase of about 4 min and max damage for each upgrade for attack
Mine are at level 6 and are at attack 84 min max - 50-73, so you can compare to yours
To be honest it would probably have been more efficient to level up my boat 2 turns quicker than develop 4 cannons to that level.
That being said a luck hit with a cannon in range to a large creature does a lot of damage (just short of killing a full stack of lizards in one). So for me as a ranged build they are still pretty useful. |

| Going at this rate i might end up with 60-65k silver, and as i read, We'll get gold equal to silver and an art, this event is giving sooooo much profit, cost for arts is paid by the reward at the end of battle itself.. |

| I don't think it's logical to give gold = silver. This is clearly an advantage for lower levels and disadvantage for higher levers, whose cpb is much higher. |

This fight with an elf trader was superfunny. I won this fight with one fireball ^^. After that I just had to clear out the rest of that elven rabble. I believe I didn't lose a single soldier.
