after the cut of magic resistance of fortune geni, bw wiz does not have so many advantage over classic wiz, and now even unholy necro can be beaten by a classic chaos wiz:

Apparently there will be a Balance Change after the Minor Tournament (Maybe they did it specifically to check New Shadow Barb in battles).
Im curious as whether they will touch something else (As of "Another Faction").
Im surprised they'd change something in Xmas time and New Year though, with all the Event coming with it.

IIRC there was 1 UN Silver Medal last time, and 1 Gold Medal in Classic Necro CL 14.
I like to see powerful enemies though, I saw a Red Demon with 32 Atk, 45 Def at my Lvl.

A surprising response to what in some ways was a narrow loss (raise gave him the advantage there and so ultimately it was perhaps more comfortable a win) from a player who would normally get 15 from 15 himself (and will probably still get gold) and yet defend that DD is not OP.
It is difficult to separate a strong character build from an OP faction and his character is equally strong as yours (no stat difference from character build, just achieved through different ways he is up on WG but down on CG, you are up on HG but down on LG).
Surely given that it is reasonable that sometimes a player or faction build would be better than yours? If you happened to have had a slightly more attack based set up you would perhaps have won. This would not make his faction OP, just means that you cannot win them all with the same build, but do not know which build will be needed as it depends on the opposition.

yes i do win lots of battles, yet many of them would be a loss if opponent do not make mistake. but if you checked his battles, you will find his opponents no chance at all. a defensive dd lost to a wiz is not surprising, but when an unholy(who plays quite well) lost to a wiz, it must be something broken. |

but unholy losing to most might factions is normal. Its not really losing against chaos wiz so why is it surprising? Is there some reason why wiz should lose to UN? |

the stats of that character can not be said OP in ru, their are many people who has better character build than him, the key problem is classic wiz after endless recruit count increase and recent bonus to hero initiative.
just means that you cannot win them all with the same build this is exactly what lv17 classic wiz doing right now. for example before long offensive knight with leadership+retribution build always have advantage over classic wiz, but now they stand no chance. |
