6000 rubles is 150 diamonds.
maybe that is after including bonus, i.e on buying 125, you get 150. If thats the case, then the translation is misleading, if thats not the case, they should have mentioned 150, not 180 anyways. | for TraceFFF:

Translation is correct and yes, misleading to me too. Fact is you need to buy 150 diamonds on .ru and .com. You get 180 diamonds with 20% bonus and wendigos. | It makes sense with 20%.
But for +15% offers, they say 120 diamonds(with bonus) whereas 115(100 Base diamonds) get you everthing..

.ru mentions 6k rubles, then .com should mention 150 aswell. Why to mention with or without bonus addition/subtraction. Just creates confusion.
I don't know if it has been always like this.
I do remember however 180 being diamonds count everytime for LeG troops, I wonder if during bthose time aswell if we could have gotten it on 125 diamonds or not. | or just poor tactics to attract more money ;p
It makes no sense.
If you are willing to pay 180 for everything and the offer mentions 180, you will pay.
If you are not willing to pay and the offer mentions 180 you will not pay.
Therefore if announcement is showing 180 but in practice it is 150 they will not get more money than if you had to pay 180 for everything. | hence 'poor' tactics :p

i didnt plan to buy them initially for 180, but when Sylin mentioned here about 125, i bought.
if its a bug, im happy lol, what else i can say. | It's important to distinguish between base diamond (not counting any on-going bonuses) and total diamond (counting on-going bonuses).
There are several different issues here:
[A] The Russian announcements were using the rubles spent,
implying the equivalent of base diamonds since we are not spending any money for the bonus diamonds.
E.g. the current offer of 6,000 = 150 base diamonds (1:40 conversion ratio) = 180 total diamonds (20% bonus).
It is the 150 base diamond that players have to put into the donation page, so it's reasonable that the announcements are based on base diamonds.
[B] The English announcements were using the total diamonds.
My understanding is that most of the veterans here are already aware of this,
i.e. we had to divide the bonus to figure out the base diamonds needed (e.g. 180 / 1.2 = 150).
[C] The English announcements were also inaccurate with this calculation in the past.
E.g. the November offer of 4,000 = 100 base diamonds = 115 total diamonds (15% bonus).
But the English announcements said 120 total diamonds (e.g. 120 / 1.15 ~= 105 > 100).
Again, similar miscalculation applies to the other rewards.
The numbers do match up this time though.
In the previous promotion, I was only checking for [C].
Point [B] and [C] are just announcement/translation issues, so hopefully that helped clear up #24.
As to how [C] happened, ProZyk made a very good point;
a lot of the messages and numbers were most likely re-used with little to no supervision.
This time, I also checked for [A] and found that it was incorrect (post #6);
the rewards were given using the Russian numbers as total diamonds.
I.e. instead of 150 base diamonds for the last reward tier, it was 150 total diamonds meaning we had to divide the bonus (150 / 1.2 = 125) on the Russian numbers.
This is a separate issue orthogonal to [B] and [C] above.
As Mellor mentioned, after I discuss this issue with him we were told by his admin contact that this is a bug.
Intended (point [A]):
Russian numbers as base diamonds (150 base diamonds = 180 total with 20% bonus).
Bug (post #6):
Russian numbers as total diamonds (125 base diamonds from 150 total / 1.2 bonus).
This so happen to make the English announcements "incorrect" since we had to now:
1. Divide the bonus as per usual to get to the Russian "base" numbers (180 / 1.2 = 150) (point [B]), then
2. Apply the "buggy" correction (150 / 1.2 = 125).
Sorry for the long post, there are several delicate issues that were mixed up so I just want to be clear. | .. I wonder if during bthose time aswell if we could have gotten it on 125 diamonds or not.
I share the same sentiment as #25 and #10.
It is surprising that the same mechanic that has always been in place is suddenly buggy.
But if it's not a bug, it should've been found out long ago.
But then to figure it out is to deliberately donate less than the stated amount to check the lower-bound in which the rewards were given, losing out on chests, etc. so it's not surprising that nobody wants to try in the first place. |
