Not really I think I unlocked them after recruting or upgrading crushers.
Recruited one nomad for 2064 and I think I was at level 4 then
It prolly depends on unlocking/upgrading lower tier creatures.

yes they work, difficulty is meant to increase but because its a completely different battle it may actually be easier

to all lvl 17, be careful of the dwarf in battle 7. he comes with 91 spellpower.

Feral charge = caravans auto after first turn
Yes, they fixed the feral charge abilty today.
Also they reduced difficulty. In particular, 6th fight difficulty got halved for me.

Also, you can't cast earth and sky every turn. Looks like there may be cooldown time. Same for feral charge.
From the comments and my experience I comclude that the event is pretty easy and fun to play on low levels (CL 14 downward). Units deal very nice damage and are fast so battles are very short. Really worth to play it and it should finance itself. All my battles were with about minimum AP.

went from 63 vampire counts that would alone be almost impossible to beat + the rest of troops to something quite manageable almost easy

Trueee lost like 1 but I didn't add any new troops but after recruiting pretty neat
So far haven't recruited nomads they look crazy expensive but upgraded everything above it and goes pretty easy rather boring
Goblins gotta be the most OP units thus far, allows for so much kiting

Pretty easy day. goblins 100% trap is super helpful and fetishists first blood + feral slash is instant winner.

Are y'all using Dreamwalkers? Are they any useful?
I got dreamreavers. Not super useful. Earth and Sky duration doesn’t depend on the number of troops in the stack. But they hit hard I guess.
