I see that there is a witch in lvl 13. Do I have to destroy the cage to make witch join me in next lvl or not, just enough to win the combat?
It is enough to win the combat but you should destroy the cage before you win. She will improve def stats and hp if you do that.

I am now in lvl 13 combat, it is sure win but I cannot destroy the cage. Before I shoot it shows 100+ damage and 1 cage destruction but after shot it shows that I have done 0 damage. Feature or bug? Should I use magic to destroy cage or what? I have no magical troops here.
Try using melee attacks.
Ok, shots do not deal damage although calculator shows damage, you need to hit it with meele.

As now I have the witch, how should I use it? If it is killed in combat, do I lose it forever?
You can let it die safely.

It will just grow stronger eventually. For exemple mine has piercing shot now, but it still do pathetic damage...

She will resurect if she dies. I’m not 100% sure, but I think that if she dies her HP will increase.
Also if you use spells her mana will increase. And someone here wrote that she can even learn new spells.
It will be good if someone can post what they say on .ru forum. I’m sure they have a better idea already
Any tips how to grow the witch? Seems that she improves as you use some features but that does not come so obvious how exactly it improves.

Now using opera, its translator plugin fails to translate websites that require login such as heroeswm.ru, maybe I will have to go back to Chrome.

Hit points grow after any battle in which she loses hit points (possibly at a rate of around 90% of the hit points lost). Mana doesn't increase every battle, there seems to be a minimum threshold (or maybe it is something like 20% of the mana used, but rounded down?)
Well, my HP guess was wrong. In my last battle, she took no damage until near the end, where she was killed in a single cannon shot; she gained only about 10% hit points.

Also, she used all of her mana and gained... none.

Regarding Vidomena, last fight at the end, I defended with everything else and let Vidomena use all her abilities. After casting, shooting, moving and killing the last cannon, she increased her attack, damage and movement speed.

I have no clue if it was her time to have all this stats increased, or if we actually have to let her fight as much as possible, in order for her stats to increase faster. Any clues on this?
According to the daily:
move to increase speed
wait for initiative (not sure about this one)
shoot for damage and more arrows
defense and health when you get hit
new spells depending on the school you use (and more SP)

She will become stronger faster if she is not killed and if the battle drags on eventually it does not matter what she do (I understand it as in after turn X the game stop tracking what she does to increase her stats but this is just how I interpret it).
very bad news. it means i have to lenghten battles unnecesarry.
For me initiative increased from 8.1 to 8.2 without waiting once in a game
the new troop Guardians of heaven
is decent and useful
I think now the witch can cast mass delay spells, the guardians of heaven will shine really hard
