|Despite a month of winter in the Empire, the weather was getting warmer, if not hotter, day by day. Nature was beginning to turn green again, and many beasts started to emerge from their winter hibernation, terrifying the villagers in their confusion. And while at first many assumed, jokingly, that it was just the heat of the flames burning within the hearts of the Empire’s defenders, the suspicions grew that something was wrong. With the arrival of the New Year’s Eve festivities, the mystery was finally revealed - another ploy by the insidious Grinch, who had plotted a new atrocity. Enlisting the help of robbers, this villain has attacked one of Santa Claus’ snowman and somehow managed to steal the winter. After all, it is not just snow and frost in the New Year. But such an impertinent interference with the natural course of things can shake the balance of nature - and cause much more terrible consequences than just a spoiled holiday. Winter must urgently return, and villains must be taught a lesson! So that they feel the fury of real frost penetrating to the bones!|
Lords and Ladies! Winter is in danger - and it has to be saved from the tricks of the treacherous Grinch, who took refuge in one of the castles in the depths of the robbers' wasteland. Especially for this important mission, the court magician Abu-Bakir has resorted to particularly powerful enchantments - and managed to enlist the support of the army of the Cold. Even though these creatures are famous for their evil nature, by some simple manipulation they can be turned against the snatchers of their favorite element.
- All Lords and Ladies of combat level 5 and above are invited;
- Allowed ammunition for ordinary battles – artifacts from the shop (AFS), enchantments have no effect;
- Recommended ammunition for battles with superior enemy forces – artifacts without any enchantment restrictions (FFA) with the sum of enchantment power from 40;
- Use of personal troops is prohibited, instead, an initial castle and troops of the Army of Cold will be issued under the command of each Lord or Lady;
- During the event, Lords and Ladies will represent their current active faction and will be able to take advantage of the bonus characteristics for creatures according to their faction skill level, but the use of talents and Magic guilds will be impossible;
- The main goal of the campaign is to find the Grinch's hideout in the lands of robbers and save the winter he stole;
- Defeating the enemy on the 30th main difficulty level will open access to additional battles for those who wish to properly teach all the accomplices of the crime! A total of 50 additional battles and 75 attempts will be available. The reward for wins in additional battles will be insignificant;
- To successfully complete the main campaign (battles on map), you will need to buy new buildings in the castle, recruit new creatures and equip them with reinforced creature armaments;
- The additional campaign goals will be presented in the form of battles for silver, for glory points and the search for creature armaments;
- Battles for silver will be held according to the rules of ambushes, against the caravans of smugglers;
- The battles for Glory Points will take place against robber armies who have captured local settlements and abandoned castles. The Glory Points increase your authority among the Army of Cold. As your glory increases, the more troops you can recruit;
- Battles to find creature armaments will take place in the format of hunting Army of Cold rogues. For defeating them, you can get one specific artifact;
- Also, for every 4 defeats during this event, one stimulating battle will become available against a small enemy army. The reward for the battle will be 2,000 silver. Be careful, because the enemies are unlikely to fight honestly and will surely call for reinforcements;
- Ordinary battles and battles with superior enemy forces are mutually exclusive. After defeating an ordinary opponent, his reinforced counterpart will become inaccessible - and vice versa;
- All battles are the same for all Lords or Ladies of the same combat level;
- After a buildings’ construction, a certain number of troops will be available to you, the next day more will unlock, according to their growth and so on during the first 7 days;
- On the first day, you can only advance up to the 5th difficulty level on the map, inclusive. Every next day, 5 more difficulty levels will become available. On the 7th and 8th day of the campaign, the opportunity to participate in 20 additional battles will open. On the 9th day, the final 10 additional battles will become available;
- Every day, 6 levels for each of the additional tasks are available (up to 42 tasks of each type), undefeated levels are transferred to the next day;
- For the main battle wins, you can get silver, glory points, Guild points, gold, creature armaments, diamonds, troops to the leaders reserve, scrolls of calling, parts of stacks to the reserve, as well as parts of the Magma Helmet and Heaven Diadem;
- Wins in additional battles can bring points of the Thieve’s/Ranger’s Guild, Hunter’s or Watcher’s Guild ;
- The event will last 11 days till 4 January inclusive, after which the magic of Abu-Bakir will weaken - and the Army of Cold will return to its world;
- At the end of the campaign, every Lord and Lady who can defeat the 7th difficulty level on the map will be able to count on a special trophy artifact and the corresponding achievement. The durability of the artifact will depend on the maximum difficulty level defeated, including additional
