| Is dwarf really weak at lvl 5 is it only me? Till lvl 4, I used to win a lot, even without runes. Some tips on placing the troops and attacking, mainly the ranged troops pls. |

i'm not sure, but have theory. every stack have number in battle-code. berserkers hit target with lower number. so, usually players can't know what target hit berserkers in PvE. but may be you can change your stacks number against other dwarfs before battle, if you change your units seats in Troops settlement panel. |

We don't know and yes, it is a bit frustrating when we use the berserk ability and they target a low HP/easy to kill stack instead of a big/hard to kill stack. But I think it goes like this:
1. When at the same range we have different stacks of enemies, they will attack based to AI stack priority (ranged first and so on).
2. If we have the same enemy stacks, then it will hit the easiest to kill stack. |

thanks for the answers; i just did battle and it doesn't seem to match the theories mooted - my berserkers went for 24 liz (1,200 HP total) instead of 35 shrews (560 HP total). rightfully speaking the shrews would've been the easier to kill unit |

They went for liz insted of shrews because liz were closer, just in front of them, while shrews were in front and to the right. So in reality you didn't have 2 stacks at the same range ;) |
I have a small question for high FL dwarves.
So far it seems that each stack can only use one rune per battle, no matter what. But does that mean that you can only use a total of 7 runes during a battle? Or are higher runes compatible with lower ones (that is, can you use a high level one on a stack that already used a low level one?)
I'm worried because, in the end, there does seem to be a limit, that isn't really explained to players in the help section, but changes deeply the way I look at dwarves.. |

that just means that u can use a single rune twice in a combat.
like u use rune of chrage on berserkers, u can again use that same rune on some other stack. |

I think im a good dwarf player, im level 10 and i really like to use magic.
My talents for this level were, for a long time, basic leadership, rally then advanced holy magic.
the trick here is to know when to use your runes.
In commanders guild, i always go with advanced or expert defense, depending if theres a lot of mages that usually play in cg or not.
Dwarfs are weak in 1vs1 but they can be really usefull in group battles, so you better check with your team mates when to atack. Also you can try to in 2vs2 or 3vs battles go with support dwarf, using expert holy and domination of wrath. this way you only will need 3-4 spell power,and 2 knowledge.
