well, since you are fsp lvl 0, i would say the best for you is just that what you have now

Yes, I think they are generally good.

Pros:
Good defense and nice HP
The runes that allow you to use interesting tactics
High HP shooters that can keep your enemy shooters focused for a while

Bad things:
Low initiative. For example if you fight elfs, expect FK's and sprites to attack you first.
Having 3 large units means that you can either place your troops in enemy range and expect them to give you the first blow, or place them in far away corners and use 2 runes of double speed (I prefer the first option)

Because they moved, they can only not be moved if they haven't moved yet

There is some mage dwarfs on this server?
Chaos seems expensive, no sorcery..
I've used mage build in this event. I feel that mage build is more of a support build, where I used max priests to tank shots and use firewall, max ursary to pawknock, small number of berserkers to go berserk or take retail.
As for the hero, I preferred to go holy build, as chaos is way to expensive.
At level 14+ what factions make most problems for dwarf on 1vs1 duel.
I need to make some faction resistance.Tks.

I haven't done 1vs1 at lvl 14, but in 3vs3 fights I encountered problems when facing:
dark elf - shrews do a ton of damage to your berserkers or ursary
elf - only if their trees get a hold of your ursary and shooters kill your berserkers fast
necro - by far the hardest one to kill

Dont think so, that this is accurate measure of dwarven power. Every faction with unruly barbarian set probably full enchanted would be super strong.


I played only 4 battles in minor tournament, all lose. It was 3x classic necro with dark magic and once dark elf focused on defence. All opponents were high faction skill (8-9), so highier than me (but i have little resistance too).

I have had support build focused on survilurgs (double rune, expert holy, mass rapid / chastise).

Dark elf - problem was too high defence (40), so i did only small damage to him (with my 27 attack as support build). He did not big damage to me, but with much highier initiative of shrews combined with lizard ability and little morale boost he locked my bears and slowly kill them. Berserker were killed from start, and other units did too low damage.

Necro - worse than dark elf. They packed all units to one corner, wait for my units to come and slowly kill them. Again not much damage to me, but my slow units debuffed with dark magic are really pain to play. Mass delay, weakness and my units are almost useless (rapid will not help much). I just couldnt destroy undead barricade to get on skellies and not enough damage to kill vampires with their leech life.

I think, that with build change i could do better. But i was low on gold (i am still relative low :)), so i didnt want experiment too much waste it and support holy build looks good for me for survilurgs).

If i would go to minor (duels) again, i would go with max defence build with holy magic support. All ability points to defence, except few needed for spell power and mana. Again mass rapid / chastise for covering low initiative / attack and little different arts for this build. I think that dwarf as relative slow faction needs strong defence to survive first attack from faster factions and support spells or at least high morale for better initiative.
