Authormage guild lv5 give barbarian first blood skill
or instead of first blood give us the ability gating from air as we have rocs who can transport troops

we can have a set of troops no more than 50% of the main stack which we can bring into the battlefield on every turn of rocs.

and they will be having same attributs but will not have the main talents such as knockback for transported ogres.

only primary talents such as triple strike and shooters are allowed

this should remove the fuss about first blood :)

and since we dont have magic it can help us defeat magic troops :)

better barbarians troops can learn new abilities for hero and troops.

new hero abilitie(confusing strike)- increase damage dealth by 50% to the central stack and 30%to others.
stacks abilitie(kicking) it kicks enemies stack by 0.001 in ATB scale point per every attack point(looking on heroes attack not on stacks attack).
I came up with an idea for a new combat school for higher lvls a long time ago at old server. Is quite simple and I don't think it would be really OP.

Just give the barbarian hero the ability to perform an attack at the begginin of the battle, before any unit. Then normal stuff.

Took the idea from HOMMV, but it was the tribal hero who can did it.

The idea behind it easy, with racial ability reforcing wait tactics and their high reliance in ranged (orcs and cyclops normally main army, fury barbs with gob archers normally...), this will allow shooters to shoot first (no more dumb 12.5 GMB shooting before 13.4 orcs) or delay critical units of the enemy. Barbarian stunning blow isn't as strong as "stun" so I think it will not prove too much of a fussle.


I think its quite useless in group games. Good for 1v1 only.

"through rage" = hero can deal damage a line (like through shoot) to all allied or enemy start from his/her position.
He/she will run away to do this skill (if you remember the old hero barb do their attack) :)

very interesting, but combat level 3 synced with 2 would be just too much damage with hero.

In through shot, the primary targets will be across a line and if that affected adjacent units too, it would be too much. Imagine if hero hits through a group of 3x3, his targets across any line would each cause alot of adjacent damage.

I was thinking the same. It's just an expected improvement of combat school 2, but I don't know if it will be enough to balance barbarian in accordance to magic school 5 possibilities. Maybe if he gets even more damage, like 100% to all targets hit, so that damage talents will have a good usage.
Imagine if hero hits through a group of 3x3

all barb will use this ability carefully. Remember it will hit allied troops too. but i think if they used this, stunning blow will be canceled.

Well, what I understand from yopi's suggestion is this :
Hero picks a target to attack.
Hero attacks all the enemies on his way to his picked target in the same way through shot attacks other creatures in line (well, let's make it that he attacks only enemies :P), for 50% of original damage.
Hero attacks the target for 100% of the original damage and stuns him.
Hero attacks all the adjacent enemies for 50% damage.
Note: Adjacent enemies don't get hit twice.

I never said that he said that it would. I just stated that it creates possiblity where adjacent units could take damage multiple times and therefore can complicate the output.

Too much damage, hero is always on opposite side, so hitting shooters with hero would be 110% extra damage minimum, maximum I don't know because it's diagonal. So barb with hero damage talents would be able to deal huge damage.

for Poison Ivy: so what if u see that way even runes should be a talent then :P and also gating because they have got magic :P

Then as a barbarian you are, your Combat readiness should a talent.
then give normal barbarians too some proper ability..
give us runes too or gating from caves OR first blood! :P
Dont die!! lol you have to understand what is talent and hero skill first:)

may be normal barb can get some rituals like tribal lords have(but not copied one) ofc they must use some mana for it :P
