Another bright flash illuminated the laboratory of the court magician - chaotic, echoing streams of magical energy. Through their interference, some of the wizard’s enchanted devices began to involuntarily come into action. "Another stubborn entity!" the displeased Abu-Bakir snorted, with notes of arrogant indignation. His gaze was directed at the temporal crystal lying in front of him on the table, completely absorbed in pitch darkness. Suddenly, its faces vibrated, letting through streams of a dark haze that were barely perceptible to the naked eye. For a moment, the magician’s eyes flared up with pure magic, and then everything around was swallowed up by another flash. "Absolutely not!", Abu-Bakir exclaimed confidently as soon as the light dissipated again, "The entrance to the halls of this mind is closed to you". The vibrations immediately subsided, as if taking into account what was said. "Well, I have plenty of patience for now", the court magician said as if summing up, and then added "Take some time to reflect". Carefully taking the crystal, the magician took a few steps to the side and, without further ado, locked it again in the magical safe.
Yet another attempt to break the will of the captive shadow failed. Above Abu-Bakir’s expectations, the magician still had to spend more time than planned. A commodity he was already sorely lacking. The ritual of opening a portal of time will not prepare itself. There was a need to start immediately. Hastily grabbing a bag with pre-prepared crystals and other necessary materials, the magician was already heading towards the exit when he abruptly froze in place. His gaze slid to the side, catching a glimpse of the outlines of the dark temporal crystal, whose purple faces glimmered slightly in the light of several nearby candles. A strange thought materialized in the court magician’s head, promptly turning into a rather risky but at the same time interesting theory. A subtle smile of rapidly growing anticipation unconsciously shaped the corner of his lips. "Let’s see what you have to show…" Abu-Bakir stated uncannily, while confidently extending his hand towards the crystal.
Lords and Ladies, the court mage Abu-Bakir is announcing the opening of a new portal of time and the preparation of yet another scientific expedition into the depths of the mysterious past. Anyone of combat level 5 or above is welcome to join the expedition to protect it from the aggression of the ancient savages. The main thing is to remember that traveling to the past can have irreparable consequences in the future, try not to make mistakes!
Features of the Portal of Time:
1) Lords and Ladies of combat level 5 or above are allowed to participate. Only shop artifacts are allowed. Enchantments have no effect.
2) Character talents, faction skills and unique racial abilities have no effect, and neither can you take your army into the battle nor cast learnt spells.
3) For battle, you can only recruit creatures with crystals of time. A minimum of 250 crystals is required for access to the portal and will be issued to everyone wishing to attend.
4) Creatures for your army can be recruited in any way you wish, and they can belong to one or more factions. Their availability is defined by having enough crystals of time to recruit them.
5) When recruiting creatures of different factions, morale is decreased. However, building the "Hall of Unity" prevents any decrease in morale when recruiting creatures of multiple factions.
6) To cast magic spells, you must unlock the appropriate magic guild. All spells from each magic school are unlocked at expert level.
Combat briefing and expedition objectives:
1) Battles will take place in a 2 on 2 format.
2) New! In total, 50 combat stages will be available on the expedition map, each of which will offer three opponent options to choose from: standard, increased, and reduced difficulty. Defeating a difficult opponent can bring up to 12 event points. Defeating a standard opponent can bring up to 8 event points. Defeating an easier opponent can bring up to 5 event points. Each completed battle subtracts 1, 0.66 and 0.41 points respectively with constant rounding up.
3) Important! You can only engage in battle as part of a combat pair. In that case, the enemy armies separately challenging each of the partners will form a combat pair in the battle.
4) Important! You can team up only within the one combat stage, choosing an enemy of the same difficulty level (normal or hard), however the difference in combat levels of your partners should not be too large.
5) Important! To form a pair against an easy enemy, the warlord will select a partner recruit under the control of AI. Battles on this difficulty cannot be undertaken as a pair of players.
6) Important! To advance further along the expedition map, it is enough to defeat any of the opponents. If necessary, and if there is any remaining opportunity, it will be possible to return and improve the result at any individual stage. Nonetheless, such battles will be subject to a limit on the number of crystals corresponding to the selected stage.
7) Important! After 14 defeats at any battle stage, battles against normal and difficult opponents will become unavailable, and it will only be possible to fight against an easy enemy, receiving the minimum number of event points of 1 as a reward.
8) New! For each victory against an enemy you may earn gold, diamonds, guild points, creature armaments, Mercenaries’ Guild elements, scrolls of calling for Leaders’ Guild troops, parts of Leaders’ Guild creature stacks, fragments of unique artifacts, as well as crystals of time.
9) Important! The number of crystals received is fixed for each battle stage, regardless of the opponent choice. It will increase as you move along the map.
10) The favorable arrangement of stars in the sky will only last 10 days until May 25 inclusively.
11) Important! Abu-Bakir guarantees safe return from the past for all Lords and Ladies, but prohibits particularly zealous pioneers from separating too much from the main fighting forces of the expedition. Therefore, on the first day it will not be possible to advance further than the 7th battle stage. Every next day it will be possible to advance another 7 battle stages forward. On the 7th day, the final 8 stages up to and including the 50th stage will open.
12) The Empire will reward all worthy expedition participants who manage to defeat the 15th battle stage opponent with a special Worldwalker trophy artifact and a corresponding unique achievement. The durability of the artifacts will depend on the number of event points gathered.
During this event it will be possible to obtain up to 25 parts of Fear Shield, as well as up to 20 parts of Imperial sword:
Full artifacts will be forged automatically once 100 parts are collected. These artifacts cannot be transferred for use or rent, but can be transferred for repair or enchantment.
- Successful military clans and all their active members will be additionally rewarded. Awarding will be based on the final clan ranking, where the final result will be equal to the sum of event points earned by the Top 100 Lords and Ladies of the clan.
- All unblocked Lords and Ladies of successful military clans will be rewarded if they bring at least 270 points to the clan!
- If a Lord or Lady quits/is evicted from a military clan, the clan loses all the points gained by the Lord or Lady for that clan. If the Lord or Lady joins a clan, the points gained outside that clan are not transferred to that clan’s score.
- It will be impossible to leave one’s military clan on the last day of the event.
- From the second day of the event and onwards, military clans may admit no more than three players per day.
- Important: Heroes with more than 300 points will not be able to join any battle clan until the end of the event.
