Roulette is it's own solution.
Just play it and your character will auto adjust until it no longer has enough gold to play roulette with.

This might not work for you, but worked for me:
>>Go Lose on roulette.
>>Develop a hate for it.
>>Create a shortcut saying 'Waste' or 'Bad' for roulette.
>>I added a shortcut to roulette with the name 'Time' and I use it just to see the time.
