Sutpid idea if the price was down theives guild would nto be a privilesge like it is now | 1) all the people who are opposing this are basically a bunch of hypocrites and rather alot more than just selfish .
imagine similar situation in real life , suppose your relative has given birth to a child and the government after the child's birth refuses to give any service to that child saying that it is the new law ,then what would you feel at that instance of time.
frustrated i guess?
now think of similar situation on a much much smaller scale ie this game and get the similar frustration on your face.this is where the answer resides..
2) rather than wasting your time on pointless and baseless things like nagging about my texting , try changing your perspective.
(conservatives)
:)))
by just two lines i can guess how selfish the opposers are .if they are really so reluctant about my view then why dont they give us their TGIs and the arts at very less price ...

For the reasons as below.

Your analogy is inappropriate due to the following reasons:
1) The use of your real life situation to debate this current idea is inappropriate. Your example draws rights of a citizen through statutes. TGI is a game service, and access to the thieves guild is not enforceable by law. To summarise, it is a privilege, not an entitlement.
2) When changes were made to the rules concerning TGIs, in no way was it stated that you will be unable to enjoy the benefits of TGI, in comparison to your analogy which states that child grants will NOT be given after changes to the law. The current ruling of TGI seeks to limit access to TGI, with the end result of making it more exclusive to players who donated via gold, or are able to afford them at the current price on the market. Please do not forget the fact that prices of TGIs, or for the fact every single item on the market has always been determined by US players. Thus there is no law (once again) since prices are driven by market and supply, and your analogy fails to make the point.
3) In similar style to your analogy, when changes were made to the XP/FSP gains in battle and the increment of monsters in hunts after a successful win. Many felt frustation. And then so what? You either move on, or leave the game. The Admins have deemed it necessary to make such a change for purposes they'll only know, but we as players will have to live by it. If the change was so ridiculous and unacceptable that everyone started leaving the game, admins would have made some concessions and tweaked the system to make it more playable. After all, if the server is empty, who's going to pay for the cost? So what was your analogy trying to say again?
For your statement made in #22 (2),
The same is said for you, since you are so presumptuous as to call people who vote down your idea hypocrites. For instance, have you ever considered the impact this will cause to player who bought their TGIs using diamonds, or using gold. An enforcement and control of prices(decrease) will result in a significant economic loss to them.
Seriously, given your last paragraph, I wonder who the selfish one is, demanding for free TGI, etc.. just because you are not in it right now. You fail to mention the people who had laboured hard for them,etc.. I would personally suggest that you think about this from a much more holistic perspective: those that agree, disagree, and the developer's perspective. | for god5end

for statement 1)
if you perceive entitlement in other way - one gets privilege only if he is entitled to them.for instance if a country doesn't entitle non residents to buy land then they cant enjoy that privilege either .entitlement over here means the concession of admins to buy TGI at 1300000 gold (almost impossible).
for statement 2)
you say that people have the right to buy a TGI(correct) . take this into real world,
say people have a right to buy bread but the price is so so high that the condition is called hyperinflation . now that bread is useless to gaze at when you cant have it." better wear out than rust out"
for statement 3)
i never said that the change is completely unacceptable but this change is not fully acceptable though.
for 2nd last para
im calling them hypocrites for they leased their TGI and got thief arts also.
(boon to the gift) and say that we should pay for the same thing at such high price for which they did almost nothing.they almost preach that we should buy TGI unminding of how they got it.
people buy castle modifications through diamonds also .they never say that it z some sort of cheating that we got it for ____ price for it is according to their wish and not a compulsion..
for last para
.if they are really so reluctant about my view then why dont they give us their TGIs and the arts at very less price ...
i never demanded a free TGI but at a low price instead , so im not selfish
hope my views would enable you to sail in my boat.(perception)
:)))))))))))))) | +1 | +1 | Thief's Guild has always been a privilege. At earlier times, it was a privilege that was easier to obtain, but it was still just a privilege. It is in no way a requirement for enjoying the game, it is a luxury. There is a distinct difference between a NEED and a WANT. A TGI is a WANT, not a NEED.
Instead of comparing it to a loaf of bread in real-life, you should compare it to a Ferrari. Just because someone in years past may have gotten a Ferrari for $30,000, does not mean that all current Ferrari owners should now offer to sell one to you cheap because you cannot afford the current $300,000 price. You can still drive, you just cannot afford to drive a Ferrari.
For the record, I bought my TGI with diamonds. | for slynky- uve got me pondering hard butttt!!!
TGI has now become a need for it gives initiative, experience, very very expensive arts, fun and also good way to chuck away boredom and also the ability to get more adroit for in comparison with other fights TGI caravans are really hard.
:))) | Admins decided to shut down supply of TGI in last year's Grand Update. Instead of getting one invitation at level 2 and another at level 4, we just got one at level 5. The move cut TGI generation by more than 50% (considering not everyone will even achieve TG5), which was the expected result.
It's supply and demand all the way - when supply is shafted, cost rise.
It would have been great to have a growing server population sustaining TGI market with a slowly-expanding overall TGI quantity, like in the initial design. But it would have required player base to grow, which isn't the case. So to maintain their income (and instead of working to increase player base, which would have involved some work) admins simply decided to make TGI a paying privilege almost exclusively available through real money. TGI market with in-game gold shrunk to "anecdotal" level, where it lies now.
It's pointless and irrelevant to blame TGI cost on sellers.
It's as pointless and irrelevant to ask for admins to take measures to decrease TGI costs because, like I explained above, they wanted to increase TGI cost in the first place. Maybe some of you will understand.
"Horrendous TGI prices" may mean "I'll never enter Thieves' Guild, that's so sad" to you, but to admins' ear it sounds more like "perhaps they will eventually buy TGI with diamonds, ka-ching!"
You can add +1 and -1 all day long, admins have decided for you.
Have a nice day ^_^ | i typed hard in vain.
what the hell!!!!
wtf indeed!!!!!!!
