It took me a while, but I finally figured out the winning strategy. Unfortunately, it cost me some valuable time—and I lost a few battles along the way.
To be honest, I’ve been running most events on low difficulty due to time constraints (family, work, life—you know how it is).

I wonder what's the difference between having just 3 towers without knockback compared to 5 with knockback except the obvious less damage...seems a bit weak but somehow it worked well.

I enjoyed this. This is how events should be - all battles winnable, straightforward, without analysing 5 minutes before each battle how to play it... :) ok maybe you may lose few, but not too many. And even when you win all, you don't need to have full score because of certain losses of resources or whatever. That's pretty fair.
